    Im confused - isn't the positive focal length of a converging lens on the opposite side of the object? why does he put the "f+" on the same side as the object? I thought that meant it was negative for lenses. (1:50 in)

    At 3:55 you say that converging is equal to concave and diverging is convex. Shouldn't this be flipped?

    I saw a Mathew Broderick Movie from the 90's where He was Creeping on a Pretty Lady but Allowed the Image to come in through the Window and get Projected onto the Back Wall in order to be more Permissable

    Okay, I need help understanding this. I watched the previous video and I noticed the terminology changed from convex and concave lens (is diverging and converging lense the same thing). I have a follow-up question after this one is answered.

      It’s just the name convention used... and diverging and converging lens are not the same... converging lens converge rays of light to a single point... diverging lens diverge rays of light away from one another

      The shape of diverging vs converging lens and mirrors is a bit confusing but just something that you should get familiar with and memorize... just think if rays of light are converging to a single point... it’s a converging mirror or lens... concave is a separate characteristic related to geometric shape
