Lab techniques are like...c'mon do we really have to know the ins and outs of all of them? The answer is NO!! In this installment of our High-Yield topic series, I teach you all you need to know about the most commonly tested lab techniques and nothing more - perfect for the MCAT. Keep an eye out for another video on chromatographies too though!
In case you didn't know, I'm a current medical student and have a hobby for making free MCAT resources on UA-cam with my brother John:-) I scored in the 100th percentile on my own MCAT in 2021 and made all the mistakes so that you don't have to!

Research is the thread that joins nearly all MCAT curricula. Some argue that research-related questions make up about 20 percent of the MCAT. A video on this key pillar of the MCAT will be appreciated.

Please please please keep making these high yield videos! My mcat is coming up and pairing these with the chapters in the high yield book has made the material so much more digestible. I am able to pick up and understand more concepts when I utilize both.

Yes, I struggle with the different research methods! especially when they ask which is the IDV or DV. I don't know why some of the graphs just trip me up (which I never thought I had a problem before).

These videos are great. I had one idea that would be helpful. I feel like I have worked so hard to learn all this material for the mcat. It would be nice to know what material we need to remember for medical school, and what material we can let go. Can you make a video about that?

I love your videos so much! Thank you so much for all of your help! I may be wrong, but isn't the Cathode (-) and the Anode (+) since it is an electrolytic cell (Providing power) as opposed to a galvanic cell (Spontaneous)?

Actually that's exactly right, thank you for clearing that up for me! I think I technically stated it correct in the video but as you could tell, that has always confused me. That makes it make more sense. Thank you for the love :-)
