Don't knock yourself. You're taking a drawing/painting technique used to make a 2D image look 3D, applying it to a 3D object, so that it looks like a 2D image. It's a great exercise and honestly you did amazing with it. It's obvious looking at the model what you were trying to represent. Keep it up.
If you look at the video game versions of Goku, you'll see that you have in-fact nailed it. Really good.
this came out so cool, i especially love how the 2d effect looks on that base! would like to see you do this same model again in a realistic style, would be look cool with both models side by side

Great intro on the pre-supported STL / individual printer setting situation, seems a lot of people don't get this and just think pre supported stls should just work
However You didn't mention that even the same settings on the same printer but with different resins would have different results too!,
Even the same printer, resin, and settings could still get different results if the resin temperatures are different enough, 🤷♂️😄

Dude you have the same problem as me apparently. You are so overly critical of your own work. You are way better than me but I'm getting better. I think... but I still can't get used to people telling me how awesome something I've painted is. I'm always knocking it. So much so that I'm scared to ask good money for anything I've done. I don't even want top money, I just don't want bottom either but I seem to keep only asking for bottom money. I received got diagnosed with adhd so thins mean I do find it tough to stay on target too. That being said , I love this stuff. From me to you bro, your stuff is awesome including this one. You've done a great job just like you always do!👊🤘 I think I said on patreon the other day I'm looking forward to seeing you do another model in cell shading style. Maybe a Transformer! 😜

I love Sunlu "standard" resin, I tried some of their other resins and had nothing but failures so I just stick with the standard. I tried their 14k resin and prints were just falling off the supports constantly, it had zero strength.

Also, the reason you failed EVEN WITH SUNLU RESIN (which I absolutely love)... the pre-supports are garbage. I tried the 1/9 scale as well, entire plate failed, I went and supported 1/6 version myself. Zero failures.

To be honest, I find painting smaller figures/minatures easier than the large ones 🤣🤣 with large figures I make so many mistakes that I sometimes think I unlearned how to paint stuff

IDK if you read the comments but you should look into marvel rivals and make some models related to that to maybe spread your name? i posted a few pics of 3d prints that are marvel related and they love that stuff they creators are also looking for 3d printers since i am not professional i refused lol. atleast the luna snow creator wanted a model of luna snow xDDD
