You're right about the blue ...higher frequency (I'd forgotten about that). The sky blues bring you 'out' of the painting, into your mind and stimulates a kind of Cosmic sense of the Muse while the deeper 'ultramarine' brings you back 'in' to the painting. Sense your brain and your eyes in particular as you try each one. Blue is fun!

Also, you might want to use it anyway to try something different! You never know if you don’t try. Trust and follow your intuition!
