So hilarious how Black and White Cat just dozed off, mid-playtime, standing up. ;) Anyway, I think this guide would make a great e-book or PDF. With two playing cats on the front cover!
new place is exciting, everyone's story is different, I'm glad you prepared and settled in. Vancouver is still gloomy, I'm moving to Shanghai next year, most probably.
I didn’t realize until today that the Chinese expression for 'not available anymore' sounds almost exactly like 'Mayo.' This little hilarious story of yours really cracked me up.
I would propose that we only need some small gifts that’s unique in your country. Like a few good chocolate bars from a local brand. Or local coffee beans. Maybe your pillow that you really like. Other things are abundant and you don’t need to worry about bringing.
As a Chinese who studied in the UK and the US for some years and having quite some friends here in Mainland China as expat, I think the most important thing for anyone who wants to move to China is being open-minded to a totally different culture and society. Have seen many expats especially those who came from the West, acting presumptuously and arrogantly, could not handle their daily life properly and isolate themselves here simply because they could not accept whatever is different from theirs back in their countries. Other than that, the rest are quite easy to adapt.
Can you give 3-5 good quick examples of what you mean by " acting presumptuously and arrogantly, could not handle their daily life properly and isolate themselves here simply because they could not accept whatever is different"?
@@JohnDorian-j7x I will give you one good quick example, which was quite explosive on news few years ago, that the one high level manager of Mercedes Benz who were sent to work in China, once deliberately showed his racism towards to local Chinese citizens, by cursing them and saying racist words because he was stopped by a security from entering a building that he was not supposed to, so his self-esteem got hurt. And this kind of things happened quite a few every year before covid. Good and quick enough for you?
A lot mentioned about the zombies around Hasting area, but honestly Beijing has its own zombie areas too.. A different kind of zombies caused by different things tho..it'd be interesting for yall to find out, I lived in both zombie areas *DD
Are you talking Hastings Street Vancouver Bc Canada? How bad can Beijing be? Is it the same as you hope some homeless person is hopped up and frozen on that zombie drug.... So they are not introducing your back to a used needle
@@FAFORednickincell Yeah Hasting East Vancouver butumm.. nah Beijing zombies have nothing to do with consumption of illegal drugs but I assume they are taking lots of legal medications . But I will say tho, if you reside on the east side of the city where the consulates/western business headquarters are, you won't see very many zombies lolol
@@FAFORednickincell Yeah Hasting East Vancouver butumm nah I don't think BJ Zombies have consumption of illegal drugs problem but a lot of them are on loads of meds for sure lolol
@@FAFORednickincell Here..If you reside on east side of the city where consulates/ western business headquarters are, the less likely to meet zombies. my new American dream is to move to China. Crime is getting crazier and closer as time passes over here in SoCal.
Joe Biden's American Exceptionalism.
How's there buddy? Haven't been back for a tour since I graduated.
Tell me about it.. Canada is getting close to the stuff happening in the US
The fact that I feel unsafe walking alone on a friday night after 8 pm is kind of driving me crazy.
Great sharing. More foreigners should visit China.

@joeyp1927 great idea, so cute!
@@LaLaLaLauran Thanks! Your cats are cute! I like how they use your lap as a multipurpose room: a playpen and a bedroom!
You chose the best country to live. Well done.❤❤❤
I saw the little kitten coming out.
