My feedback. The middle part looks like a indent. It'd be nice if you could fill up that space somehow. I know it's the piece that shifts the phone, but it looks like someone took a scoop I can't really imagine how to fix it But if you somehow can it'd be interesting. Maybe something to fill the space up to prevent dust or lock it in place or maybe even store a charger + cord + SD card

I miss the DS era of handheld consoles that could fit in your pocket, and this might just be the answer.

I read a lot of comments on the first video asking you to make this a real product, but I never thought that you were actually going to put in the insane amount of work required to make it a reality. Congratz and good luck.
The journey from the prototype to where it is now is unbelievable. This is the first piece of gaming tech where the person making it is part of the community and understand what we need, using torx screws was an instant tell.
Nice you actually added foldable handle wings! Something that's been living rent free in my head for years along with a magnetic mounted controller! Good stuff
This has to be the coolest mobile gaming thing since the Sony Xperia play. I want this badly. Also thank you for not making it an iPhone exclusive. I just hope you know youve made peoples dream real.
Ah, Sony. Always letting money slip right through their fingers. You'd think their recent announcement of getting back to the handheld market (with a Portable Gaming PC if they know what's good for them) would also get them to bring back Xperia Play. You'd think.
This project went from a dream, to a silent memory, to a real prospective game changer. What a rollercoaster. You can expect me on the kickstarter page day one with a Futurama fistful of cash.
I've searched everywhere for a slide controller for smartphones. Just the idea of being able to use the phone with the controller attached, and the whole thing being pocketable. I'm so happy to see that something like this is finally available and that you made it and the idea wasn't just my stupid idea. Nice one, I hope everything works out for you. Wow, this is exactly what I need for my specific use! I’ve recently been looking at the new Redmagic gaming phone, and the biggest issue I had was the lack of a micro sd slot. I could get an adapter, but that gets in the way of a telescopic controller to fit properly. We just need good games to actually play on this. Modern phones could run almost everything up to the Xbox 360 if publishers actually ported them. Forza Motorsport 4. Halo 3. The last of us. Mario Galaxy. Etc. There's endless games that could be playable, but if it's not full of mtx and fomo it's not available.
While it would be nice to have things running natively, there is of course streaming as well. With Xbox game pass you can stream just about anything to your phone to play. That in and of itself justifies the controller existing in my opinion
If this thing gets big enough, they’re definitely coming. Mobile gaming is a massive industry, but the device has never been conducive to the kinds of games it’s capable of with the lack of dedicated controls. I genuinely think this controller has the capability to upset the entire industry. I’ve been on the fence for years about buying a backbone because it’s a controller, but just not what I want. No way!! Hey man I love your videos! I was just watching your video on the Xperia play the other day, hoping you would mention MCON lol! Ya we need to get you a controller and definitely show you one at ces! See you there!
Man this v2 version is so sick i would love to buy one when it fully launch. I know its a little bit weird and probably a pretty rare/bad idea, but what about try to add like a usb c to sd card adapter, most phone now doesnt have a sd card adapter so having one is so convenient for emulation and roms. So maybe having like an sd slot attached to a usb c cable would solve a lot of problems, in my case for example i have a good phone with good chipset than can run up to wii/ps2 but i only have 128gb, so if this idea could work i can add another 512gb sd card and i think a lot of people have the same problem. Thanks for all the work that you have done
I can’t wait for this to come out. I’ve been getting back into mobile gaming space and really need a more ergonomic controller that is easy to carry around without worrying about the controller itself being bulky and in the way. This looks like that thing

@@snekku this is absolutely true. Emulators are generally a generation or two behind because of how inefficient they are by definition.
@@cfeauto5938 don't get me wrong. I'm not saying this is a useless tool. I'm really looking forward to it coming out.
Its a huge deal even without what I'm talking about, but it's not going to be directly comparable to a proper handheld console imo unless something changes in the mobile game marketplace.
This looks awesome and I love that OhSnap helped since I've been using them since the 1.0. Cannot wait for this!
owning what you buy is such an important concept these days. please don't lose sight of that during this process. this is awesome, keep it up.
Forgot about this. This is awesome
4:24 “u suck lol” 😭
Okay but fr, THIS IS THE GREATEST ADVANCEMENT IN GAMING HARDWARE SINCE THE SWITCH
I’m definitely getting myself this as a late Christmas present.
Good idea on the time stamp; was tempted to also comment that but was worried dum dums wouldn't watch the whole video and blow me up for being rude or something.
Josh, this is a hella cool idea and I'm happy to have been following it so I can say with confidence that you have done a lot of great work to bring this brain child to life. Good job!
If you haven't heard it before "Shut up and take my money!" I want this, I need this! You have created the coolest version of a gamepad for cellphones, just beware of Chinese copycats trying to release a version of their own.
Rooting for you guys! Cant wait for this!
That's how you do it. This is so inspirational. Good work guys
0:25 freaky ahh chatGPT
Man, I can't wait for the 3D print files to release; so we can _truly_ have right-to-repair support.
lol
Bullshit!
Looks insane dude, been wanting something like this for years!! Hope to see you at CES 🥳
No way!! Hey man I love your videos! I was just watching your video on the Xperia play the other day, hoping you would mention MCON lol! Ya we need to get you a controller and definitely show you one at ces! See you there!
So glad to see you continuing amd making this a reality!
I've been wondering about this project! So glad things have come along so well. Congrats!
This is some real sh1t, hope the best for you and your controller💪
not a want, but a need.
dude you are doing a amzing job keep going what you are successful and great i will 100% love to see the finished product.
This thing looks amazing. Great job, man!
4:26 this convinced me to sign up for the preorder lol
😂😂 I was like the same 😅
"So I stopped going to class" you're already on the right track.
I want one for my ZFold6
This looks amazing, definitely supporting.
THis is really exciting to see this come to life!!! Good luck!
I can’t wait for this to come out. I’ve been getting back into mobile gaming space and really need a more ergonomic controller that is easy to carry around without worrying about the controller itself being bulky and in the way. This looks like that thing
