I downloaded the OH-6 1.5 mod and it is absolutely amazing. VERY difficult to fly but one you learn it.. so much fun!! I would gladly pay for this if they expanded it with the modern versions!
@@CommandT Maybe you can help me i cant get my minigun to fire in training Ive got master arm on.. switch set to fire normal and the 7.62 selected on center dash. pull the trigger and nothing. Also when I click on the caucuses map I cant select the OH-6 it doesnt appear in the training missions. Any thoughts?
@@CommandT I figured it out when I put the weapons mod folder in I put it in a sub-directory in the tech folder. I moved it back up and the weapons started working. I still cant fly it in the caucuses map though Ill have to get with the devs. If I buy the Syria map.. can I fly the OH-6 in that?
I don’t have any rudder pedals or extension for a stick but i can fly this beauty like butter. It’s an awesome mod. Flight school actually wanted me to stop play sims but I cheat that flying this beauty and now I can’t wait to fly my favorite helicopter the killer egg
Personally I think if you're post solo and treat the simulators maturely it isn't an issue. It's also probably a good idea to not fly exactly what you fly in real life.
I fell off flying this after the Kiowa dropped but it sounds like there’s been some nice improvements since the last version I installed. Gonna download the latest now. I did find with my bargain basement HOTAS (the 16000 and TWCS) that the FM was almost too twitchy for me but I was getting it tuned in about when the shiny shiny new stuff (58 and 47) landed on my plate. But I love this chopper marque as a virtual pilot, I’ve spent quite a bit of time in the ARMA III version. Right. I’ll shut up and start updating…
@@CommandTI did! I’ve downloaded it and taken it for a spin on Syria. I can see what you’re raving about. Either my tweaks to the controls or changes to the flight model made the chopper a dream to fly. I’m currently struggling a bit getting it to land as it just wants to fly, even at nearly full weight, but that’s most likely a skill issue. It’s a hell of a lot of fun to fly.
Ships and heavy winds - no, the issue is the skid friction for helicopters in DCS - it won’t “stick” to the ship once landed but I’ll try for sure! And I might to CE2 in real life vs sim but unfortunatly the one in the sim feels nothing like real life so the comparison will be a little pointless
Welp, there's almost no way I won't be able to download it if they upgrade it to the MH-6. I've been retiring to Il-2 for a little while now, enjoying the original Il-2's ability for me to throw together massive bomber formations (Have you truly lived until you've tried slicing through a bomber formation of 50+ B-17's?) and the Battle of X series of games. But I know I'll be back in the helicopter fun of DCS before too long.
Where is the Source that the OH-6 is officially coming out? sorry I may have miss heard. sounded like ED was making it official. but its the AH6, MH6 but still a mod.. So probably wont have door gunners shooting..
This is one of the most satisfying mods for DCS, it is absolutely great and I love it. Can't wait for an AH-6 or MH-6 that will be even more awesome. Just download the mod and enjoy it! It will make you smile, no doubt. I had almost forgotten to make a donation for all the great work done on this mod but that has been corrected.
I’m mostly curious about how you attached the control stick to the floor, it looks like you built something yourself? I’m looking to do the same, just got a Moza AB9 stick but it needs to be attached sturdy to the ground. Don’t feel like buying some expensive metal mount, I’ve spent enough $$$.
@@CommandTis it working properly for you? The up/down on the trim hat must be reversed (it is so from 1.0), and trim release is not useful for me, because after release this button FFB put the power neutral point sideways. And if you’re using only the hat (as must be in real life) the FFB give some force from the side too.
That will depend entirely on your FFB stick as the settings vary depending on personal hardware and set up. I’m using FFBeast. I can share my profiles later for anyone who is interested.
@@CommandT I have the MOZA FFB base on order and plan to use the Thrustmaster A10C / F16 stick with it. Since the OH-6 is not an official DCS module i don't expect a profile to be made by MOZA, I welcome anything to get me started.
@khaledassaf6356 FFBeast does indeed support ffb pedals if an odrive or equivalent is used. Looking for a mod for my crosswinds ATM. TPRs are making me slightly jealous... 🤣
@@supermilo Got the Virpil pedals myself. Quite happy with them. Would've loved to get the TPRs, but honestly couldn't justify getting them at double the price. Another great video :)
It's great to see how you always create these small immersive scenes with all the mods.
And thanks for the kind words!
Thanks, but mostly thanks to you for creating all this stuff! 🫡 Can’t wait for the dinosaurs to make a Jurassic Park tour! 😃
MH-6 Little Bird is inbound for DCS? Wow that sounds amazing!
Yeah should be epic. As a mod anyway
Hi, I just would like to thank you for your film. Due to your video, I decided to download it. Thank a lot and keep it up.

After the last DCS patch this mod crashed DCS for me and others in my squad. We removed this mod and DCS worked again.
