There are several places where people will vanish and die with ease. The himalayas, Ural Mountains, Siberia, are just a few.All of them are immensely inaccessible with few roads. The weather is brutal and so people can easily be killed by it, including a sudden strong wind which can blow people off a ridge. The landscape is clad in snow, forest, and rock, which means that you can get lost easily. The wild animals are numerous, and most likely weren’t scared of people due to the isolation. There are likely some people in the mountains that may wish harm on others like bandits. The cell signals are bad, and rescue services will be slowed by the terrain and weather.I think the combination of hard weather, difficult terrain, and wild animals meant that the climbers were tired out and eventually dropped from exposure, and then animals fed on the corpses or maybe a bear killed and took one.

I will speculate there was an avalanche or they fell from a height and their remains are still buried under snow. Don't know why anyone's idea of a good time is a hike in such a treacherous and forsaken place. Mountains and woods are dangerous places.
Great content,,,brilliant channel,,,just wondering what country the narrator is from
0:55 does it still blow anyone else's mind to see how close Pakistan and China are on a map?! lol I'm old af and it still gets me every time.. such different cultures sooo close together
Yes! I look at the map sometimes after a while to remind myself where things are located. It's fascinating. Even the fact that Russia is so close to Alaska is crazy.
What does the first 4 min have to do with this?
Wow this seems like one of the coolest ‘stans for sure
From Philadelphia USA 🇺🇸
Yess boys let's go.
btw, good lord a lot of russians seem to disappear or die in large groups on mountains
They might have been buried by an avalanche. This is sad.
Sometimes we sacrifice ourselves without realising it. Had they not disappeared, the TWO other teams would not have been rescued. I'm sure those two teams are grateful to them. "The needs of the many outweigh the needs of one."
Spock
Not necessarily.. depends on how much supplies those other teams had
"Set out to conquer the Pamir mountains." From there it only got worse...
Ok, where ya from my dude?
thx for creating & sharing, metric units would be great 😅
Just like the korovina case too from Siberia I think and I might not have spelled the name of the teacher right but one student also survived how f***ing weird is that
I appreciate this guy making these interesting videos and I know he's got some sort of accent, probably Russian? I keep laughing everytime he says words that to me as an American I pronounce very differently. Still very good work and keep up the good job 👏.
P.S, this is an interesting story yet compared to the Dyatlov pass incident! I know everybody knows that story but it is just insane how eerie and mysterious it was!!
Definitely not a Russian accent. I've been trying to pin it down too. Maybe... Croatian?
@@sumerianastrology I have no clue, I don't even know what a Croation accent sounds. Maybe the actual dude who uploaded this will comment to answer this mystery 🤔 😂.
Canadian
@@lars-akechesburg9911 I’m Canadian and I don’t recognize that accent. 😅
The accent I believe is AI,
I have watched many videos of Russian hiking groups so many end so badly you would think people would learn not to be hiking off to these different mountains
Is it just me or does it seems like there is a weird amount of specifically soviet/russian hikers, mountain climbers experiencing mysterious shit?
It is just you.
Very large country, where hiking is super popular, horrific conditions and well kept records.
Instant sub ;-)
Hy so I like to say wow I seen a lot of people that died 😢on the mountain 🏔️ s but people still want to go all I can say is bless u all Rip to all that passed away ❤. Amen 🙏
Avalanche is the most likely hypothesis in my opinion.
Are you saying Soviet?
"Wrath of Luigi pass?" Lol. It's what it sounded like to me.
Wow wow wow! One member have had only cat 2 experience in a cat 5 hike?? Iirc one with minimum cat 3 was allowed but most leaders scorned such "jumps ", and reputation/phys training/tech of the junior had to be exceptional. (How do i know that? You guessed it - i was the one)
Your pronunciation of so many English words is so bizzare .
The way you're pronouncing some of these words is WILD
Yet another group of adventure seekers goes missing on a bump. Watch your comments here peeps cause the adrenaline junkies love to attack when you remind them how 'safe' their pastimes is, but I find it very humorous non the less.
I like that. "The women were ALLOWED...."
As soon as I hear the words "A group of Russian hikers...." I know it's going to be good.
5 minutes in and wondering if the title was wrong?
Every time I hear sah-viet it kind of throws me, and some other words get curious treatment, but enjoyable.
Just commenting for the algorithm
I'm not a mountaineer, but I feel like they need a category 6
I don’t know why people take such risks!
Cool
Sometimes I lie in the front yard, cover my feet in dirt and pretend I’m a carrot.
It would only be weird if you painted your body orange. Be careful of hungry bunnies.🥕🐇
Personally, I think mountaineering, Artic forays, deep jungle treks and desert expeditions are insane.
Give Me a newly discovered tropical isle anytime!
Yet even idyllic isles can possess demon wiles...
It sounds to me that are spiritual things happening or military xperiments running on about portals or something unknown.
Seems like everyone who goes hiking in Siberia disappears.
Please stop trying to hide your delicious accent! 🥰💖😍
Hahaha, very delicious indeed 😋
What accent is it?
