I quit cold turkey! I Vape from age 13-23!! I feel amazing now, And have so much energy!! I’m about to turn 25. Haven’t touched a vape in almost 2 years! You can do it 😊❤️
I’m 14 started when I was 12 and every day I look at myself and ask wtf I’m doing but I can’t get myself to stop. I’ve been doing some reading and it says I could potentially become infertile to and I’m really struggling with this
I’m 23 now and I haven’t used any nicotine products for the last few days, I think this is day 5? I didn’t really plan it but it’s time to stop for good you know. I think not knowing my last vape hit is my last or holding the idea of quitting on some insurmountable platform makes it easier. I just think of it like, right now I don’t need to hit a vape. And I take it day by day, sometimes minute by minute. I also quit drinking until my urge to vape is entirely gone
Keep quitting. If you destroy it and then cave in a week and buy another, don’t be afraid to destroy it again. You’ll get tired of losing money eventually. That’s what I did. I’d hate myself for caving and then destroy it 24 hours later. Got tired of burning up $20 ever couple days lol

Biggest tips to me: -research the terrible effects, it’ll encourage you to stop. -get exercise where your lungs are being used heavily (I used skateboarding) -brush your teeth/floss/mouthwash during serious cravings -chew normal gum -get rid of any influences

I dipped for 14 years, smoked cigarettes for 2 years and vaped for 4 years. Everybodys body is wired differently, not everyone is the same, just because you quit cold turkey doesn't mean everyone can, its actually common knowledge, common sense. Quitted for almost a year and vaping does give me severe headache sometimes i just get one then messed it for 2 weeks and then the headache and never again

I've been smoking a pack a day since I was 19 years old, I am now 46. I have tried to quit numerous times, and have been in the hospital multiple times because of difficulty breathing and other issues. May 23rd 2014, I quit, today I am again trying to quit, 10 years later and that addiction is still with me. My grandfather smoked most of his life and died from lung and brain cancer due to smoking. I do not want to die like he did and I do not want my wife to have to see what I saw when my grandfather was in the hospital. This is the hardest thing I've ever done. If there are any prayers out there please send them my way, I want this nightmare to end 😢

@@brucele2056 damn, what are your triggers? Are you hanging around the same people/places? Try to find a new hobby with friends that don’t smoke or something. I’m still early into my journey but I have no urge to smoke at the moment. But for me smoking began to really piss me off. With my living conditions I couldn’t smoke at home so going out to smoke in the super hot summer or when it was raining was super annoying. Also rolling up in my house was annoying cause I was constantly trying to cover the smell from my parents, also realized the friends I was smoking with was super low quality, last time we smoked the vibe was just off, one of them is always condescending and the other one hit me up “to cyph”.but he had no weed so he asked me to sell him a dime. I gave him like a dub “for $10”. This man didn’t even have rolling papers or anything so I spotted him on that too. Then after we smoke he goes do I have Zelle. In my head I was like wth uses zelle cause all my friends have Venmo or cashapp. To this day he never gave me that $10 but still tries to sell me stuff -___- Also while I was high I wasn’t doing anything really. I’d waste like 30 mins to an hour smoking then 2 hours not really doing anything then go smoke again…..since I stopped I been super focued!! So smoking began to be more annoying then enjoyable so atm I am loving my freedom. And I have a lot more money too!! If I never started smoking again 5 months ago I would’ve been up like an extra $4.5k that also is helping me stay away from weed now think of all I could’ve did with that money I hope you find what makes you happy soon. For some I think smoking isn’t so much of an issue, but if/once it is the urge will go away I think. This is my second time stopping. I promise you will be okay again! Quit and don’t ever look back. It’s the best decision you’ll ever make for yourself
People got to start understanding that withdrawals are so minor when quitting cigarettes. The stress of not being able to have one and the mental s*** you put yourself through because of that, is what you're dealing with and calling it withdrawals. Its all mental!!
that completely depends on who you are, how your body reacts to nicotine, and how long and frequently you do it. i quit for 4 days with the most terrible wthdrawls ive ever had. i was shaking overheating not able to sleep throwing up. its called smokers flu or quitters flu and its serious for a week or more. i didnt quit for good because it was too much.
@@hell4207All of those symptoms are caused by your mind. Nicotine withdrawal is very mild. The poster is correct, our minds cause the physical symptoms.
Cigarettes are so easy to quit compared to Vaping it’s laughable so many people complain about it. Vaping is like 10x the nicotine and the mixtures they use make the user unaware that they are in taking so much nicotine. I remember back in the day if u hit a 6mg-20mg nic vape, you’d have such a rush and it would make u sick. Now, these Breeze Pros have 50mg of nic! So yeah. Cigarette smokers can complain all they want but vaping is 10x harder.

Quitting smoking for me was hard, but I did it. I started vaping last November, and I got a nice buzz from it , but after a while, I noticed reduced energy levels, body aches, and hormonal imbalances. I quit vaping a week ago and I no longer have any of the symptoms I've mentioned. That for me makes quiting easier.
I’ve been struggling so bad to quit. Despite living 95 percent of my life without vapes (before I started), even the thought of quitting makes this feeling of dread and impossibility wash over me. I’ve been vaping constantly for about 6 years. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
Exactly, I quit cold turkey too! It's been 4 months. I tried everything, switched to vaping, nicotine gums but, what worked you guys was a book by alan carr - easyway to quit smoking! All the best lads, I really wish you quit, life's so so better this way brothers! Trust me on that.

I was addicted to dip over three years going back before the army. Quitting nicotine was a promise I made to myself for my brothers so I took a can of grizzly wintergreen and kept the seal on. After I put a layer of oil paint around the seal and lid to prevent myself from opening it. So if I were to attempt I can open it but creates a bigger mess than what its worth.
Love it. Honestly it’s how I quit everything. Cold turkey im just done wake up done. It’s amazing how these little habits (aside from being unhealthy) create so much added stress in life! So glad to not be a smoker anymore
I just stopped cold turkey, it took three tries and the with draws were hell the first day. I was throwing up from the withdraws day one, but I knew it would all be worth it in the long run. Only bad side effect from quitting all together is the sleep insomnia gets bad for the first few months
I’m using NRT to quit. It’s working for me. I guarantee I would have smoked again without it. Nicotine doesn’t kill people but combustible tobacco does.
Also another way to stop it or a healthy alternative is a ripple+, anticig and stuff like that. Basically they are vapes but no nic, tobacco and tarr and nothing bad for you! So try them out if your struggling 😊
@yerpster it's only £10 or £12 and it has 1,000 puffs + it's not damaging your lungs. 1 elf bar which is 600 puffs has 2% nicotine and its usually around £5.99. So no it's not a waste
I FULLY AGREE WITH YOU. Its so stupid when people get offended "no you cant just stop its not that easy" your choosing to smoke/vape, you easily chose to do it, so you can easily choose to not do it. I aggre, no bullsh*t process, just decide you wanna stop and stop. If you still do it, you havent decided that you truly wanna stop.
Damn Im only on day 3 and I feel like SSSHHHHIITTTTT. Super anxious and moody. Just keep tellin my self this will pass soon. And Lord have mercy I sure hope it does.
It’s smart to show young people how to render their devices inoperable, removes the temptation entirely. Disposable vapes have got to be one of the grossest modern inventions, y’all should see the factories they’re mass produced in lol.
I never was a Tate fan but he was the reason I quit, his video about "why do it?" just made a lot of sense, theres no point, maybe the first few months you still get buzzes but after years theres no effect other thsn making you look like a dousche and waste a bunch of your money that ends up going to the government because nicotine is taxed high. It makes it harder to deal with stress naturally. For me it wasnt "why stop?"it was "why continue?" And thats the thing no one really brings up
You can't radical people stupid people really do wanna quit? I Ve tried a few times today I relapsed after a week. It all depends on the circumstances you re going through. I suffer with PTS and lost my children to an abusive relationship. I quit drinking and I am having to deal with. Getting my children back and having triggers. So I tried to do too many things at once. But wasn't the right time for me to do it this time? But I know I will get there soon. Everything works for people differently.
One of the ways I realized that vaping is a real addiction, was deciding to quit, putting the vape in the paper basket, just to then fish it out at the first craving. This small clip was so relatable...you really need to destroy them and keep them away like the garbage nicotine products are!
i was tired of it being the only thing I think about. i just kept sucking the ones I had dry and it burnt and hurt so I would hit less and it made me feel like shit anyway. Then I helped some people move and i was SUPER busy filling in the paid UHaul time for 3 days and before I sleep is my biggest craving but I was so damn tired I didn't hit shit and I didn't have one on me anyway. I was too tired to move but I swear to God those nights in my dreams was the strongest craving of my life. Cold sweats and dreams of searching hitting anything imaginable. Being busy works and now I still crave but I just think to myself if I give in now, when it's easiest, then those dreams were for nothing and I don't think I can fight those demons again without helping people move all day
It’s been 3 days for me rn I actually was at the hospital this morning Because for the past week my chest on the left has been killing me just sharp pains when I breathe and it’s even scarier when I wasn’t breathing hard at all and it would hurt, I work overnight 10 hours shifts n I been getting anxiety bad since it happened at work a few days ago I thought I was gonna have to quit before I had a heart attack at work but I pushed through it n this morning I went to the er took X-rays blood and test and everything was looking fine they said it wasn’t my heart or lungs it’s this thing that’s common with young people were the tissue is inflated by my ribs and it’s bruised or something like that but I was for sure I was gonna die soon thought I’d have a heart attack at any moment of the days or something like lung cancer been smoking for 8 years started with weed then cigarettes and then vapes I actually quit cigarettes really easily tbh I think the fact that I replaced it with a vape I found it more convenient I guess and I mean I still smoke thc but not a lot at all a half cart will literally last me a month maybe more I get anxiety bad when I’m high but I have to smoke before I eat or sleep Yk .. what I’m saying is even tho the smoking isn’t really the cause of my “near death experience” I really needed that shit cuz I’ve tried to quit so many times but it didn’t seem like it was that important to even quit until I thought it was too late 🤷🏽♂️ Best thing you can do is JUST STOP FIGHT THE TEMPTATIONS AT ALL COST THINK ABOUT HOW BAD YOU GONNA WANNA HIT THAT VAPE WHILE HOOKED UP TO A BUNCH OF MACHINES ABOUT TO TAKE UR LAST BREATH..
I tried quitting 3 days ago and the day after I stopped I started getting pissed off, mental breakdowns and nausea and I had really bad indigestion from that. I relapsed. I thought I wasn't addicted and when I first started I laughed about it saying "ha! People are so dramatic when they say it's hard to quit nicotine." And I started doing it thinking I was going to be able to quit when I wanted. I swore I wasn't addicted. I didn't feel like I was. But I realized that when I'm mad or something I hit the vape. But I realized, after trying to quit, that I was addicted. So look who's laughing now. Cuz I thought to myself last night "wtf did I do to myself? Why did I do it just because my friends do it?" Now I realized I effed up. So to anybody who never vaped in their life, please don't do it and stay healthy. If your friends do it, don't be dumb and do it because ur friends do. Health is way more important that some fruity flavored e-cigarette. Once you're hooked it's hard to quit. I learned my lesson.
I 100% agree with you. I always been a stress smoker, could empty a pack of cigs in a week and stop for 5 months. When I started vaping, I was addicted in a matter of days. Elfbars have an incredibly high nicotine level, they say one 600 puff elf bar is equivalent to one and half pack of cigs, and I puffed two of them a day. Last year I tried cold turkey, didn't work. I got a refillable vape now and only take liquids with a low nicotine level, next order will be half nicotine free and half low nicotine level (6 or 10mg/ml), and most important, I keep the vape out of my reach when I'm doing stuff. I actually feel a bit better since I handle it that way. When all the liquids are used up I try to quit cold turkey again.
@@TrafficDE it's so hard to quit. I cried in the bathroom at a public place. I even screamed in anger because of how much I cried and craved it like crazy. I felt like I was on the verge of losing my mind.
I quit using a patch after many times of trying. Some people need to step down slowly to make the transition easier. This attitude is jacked up. Quit however you can, and F everyone thay says you have to do it their way. There has been many studies and 75% of people that quit cold turkey start smoking or using tobacco again in less than a year. People that use the patch quit and stay quit. There is no extra points for making your quitting process as brutal as possible. The important thing is that you quit.
Honestly? I used to smoke, then I switched to vaping because I didn't find comfort in cigarettes the way I used to. I switched from a glorified fog machine to disposables because I didn't see any need for such a large cloud. I used to like the flavors I'd pick. Lately, the flavors of vapes I've been selecting haven't been one's I like, so I don't reach for them nearly as often.

I got Into those things for a few months. The physical draw to it is immediate. I had to decide I wasn't buying them shits anymore. It was hard because they're everywhere. I quit drinking, too. Never thought I had much willpower.
I tried putting the vape back in the box and taping it up. That didn’t work and the cravings were strong enough for me to go back to where I put the box and break back into it so now I’ll probably have to dump the vape in a glass of water like that.
Anyone who quit cold turkey and I don't care if you smoked a 100 cigarettes every day for the past 100 years. You were never addicted. An addict can't just go cold turkey. That's the definition of addiction
I don't know if that's entirely accurate. some people handle addiction and withdraw very differently. I handled quitting much differently than my friend did. he had the shakes and flu like symptoms where I had wicked anxiety and head fog and we both had cravings (i still do sometimes and its been years). and we both quit cold turkey. Everyone is different and making a statement like that which generalizes peoples experiences no matter how different they are is kinda fucked up...

I dipped for 14 years, smoked cigarettes for 2 years and vaped for 4 years. Everybodys body is wired differently, not everyone is the same, just because you quit cold turkey doesn't mean everyone can, its actually common knowledge, common sense. If you have severe anxiety and suffer from severe anxiety attacks quitting nicotine is 500x worse than your situation.
All the advice people give, you’re the best I’ve heard so far.
Found out I was pregnant and had to give up everything but it’s kicking my ass right now it’s so hard to quit but a healthy baby is more important!

To this day he never gave me that $10 but still tries to sell me stuff -___-
Also while I was high I wasn’t doing anything really. I’d waste like 30 mins to an hour smoking then 2 hours not really doing anything then go smoke again…..since I stopped I been super focued!! So smoking began to be more annoying then enjoyable so atm I am loving my freedom. And I have a lot more money too!! If I never started smoking again 5 months ago I would’ve been up like an extra $4.5k that also is helping me stay away from weed now think of all I could’ve did with that money
I hope you find what makes you happy soon. For some I think smoking isn’t so much of an issue, but if/once it is the urge will go away I think. This is my second time stopping. First time was for 2.7 years, after relapsing I know see I wasn’t missing out on shit!!

I quit cold turkey, it was hard at first but let me tell ya, it's been 15 months since I vaped and I'm glad I went through with putting up with temporary withdrawals
Going on 2 months nic free!!!!! It’s hard as hell and I commend everyone who even tries it. The first month is the worst but I’m starting to see the light at the end of this very dark tunnel.

I love the amount of quitting stories from teens, bro you didn't smoke it long enough to get addicted 🤣
Just like to point out most people don't actually quit, they just distract themselves with new addictions they don't feel guilty for saying yes to
I was addicted to dip over three years going back before the army.
You still quit?

I just stopped cold turkey, it took three tries and the with draws were hell the first day. I was throwing up from the withdraws day one, but I knew it would all be worth it in the long run. Only bad side effect from quitting all together is the sleep insomnia gets bad for the first few months
I’m using NRT to quit. It’s working for me. I guarantee I would have smoked again without it. Nicotine doesn’t kill people but combustible tobacco does.
Question, are you stopping because you stuck a battery in a water and it messed up
Also another way to stop it or a healthy alternative is a ripple+, anticig and stuff like that. Basically they are vapes but no nic, tobacco and tarr and nothing bad for you! So try them out if your struggling 😊
nah that ish a waste of money
@yerpster it's only £10 or £12 and it has 1,000 puffs + it's not damaging your lungs. 1 elf bar which is 600 puffs has 2% nicotine and its usually around £5.99. So no it's not a waste
I FULLY AGREE WITH YOU.
Its so stupid when people get offended "no you cant just stop its not that easy" your choosing to smoke/vape, you easily chose to do it, so you can easily choose to not do it.

For me it wasnt "why stop?"it was "why continue?" And thats the thing no one really brings up
it’s definitely doable. im 4 years deep and slowly feeling the cold turkey coming just this time i gotta man up and take the uncomfortable feelin
This is actually the worst and most detrimental way to quit anything and is clinically proven to not work and if anything do the opposite
... to get rid of it? 💀
For me. Reading quit smoking by Allen carr helped me do cold Turkey. After a few days you forget you even vaped
The father pulled up on me and let me know real quick I gotta get my self right😂 .Amen
i was tired of it being the only thing I think about. i just kept sucking the ones I had dry and it burnt and hurt so I would hit less and it made me feel like shit anyway.
Being busy works and now I still crave but I just think to myself if I give in now, when it's easiest, then those dreams were for nothing and I don't think I can fight those demons again without helping people move all day
It’s been 3 days for me rn I actually was at the hospital this morning Because for the past week my chest on the left has been killing me just sharp pains when I breathe and it’s even scarier when I wasn’t breathing hard at all and it would hurt, I work overnight 10 hours shifts n I been getting anxiety bad since it happened at work a few days ago I thought I was gonna have to quit before I had a heart attack at work but I pushed through it n this morning I went to the er took X-rays blood and test and everything was looking fine they said it wasn’t my heart or lungs it’s this thing that’s common with young people were the tissue is inflated by my ribs and it’s bruised or something like that but I was for sure I was gonna die soon thought I’d have a heart attack at any moment of the days or something like lung cancer been smoking for 8 years started with weed then cigarettes and then vapes I actually quit cigarettes really easily tbh I think the fact that I replaced it with a vape I found it more convenient I guess and I mean I still smoke thc but not a lot at all a half cart will literally last me a month maybe more I get anxiety bad when I’m high but I have to smoke before I eat or sleep Yk .. what I’m saying is even tho the smoking isn’t really the cause of my “near death experience” I really needed that shit cuz I’ve tried to quit so many times but it didn’t seem like it was that important to even quit until I thought it was too late 🤷🏽♂️
Best thing you can do is JUST STOP FIGHT THE TEMPTATIONS AT ALL COST THINK ABOUT HOW BAD YOU GONNA WANNA HIT THAT VAPE WHILE HOOKED UP TO A BUNCH OF MACHINES ABOUT TO TAKE UR LAST BREATH..

There is no extra points for making your quitting process as brutal as possible. The important thing is that you quit.
bro for eg, masturbation ok lets say its hard but... nicotine stuff like cigarrates and vapes are way easier to quit
