Winter is here and so are the crazy storms! Winds of 65mph overnight, and offshore winds at 45mph the next morning made conditions impossible, but we got a window in the afternoon. And day 2... well Day 2 was an absolute dream of a winter day of surfing on the East Coast. Good times with the crew!

I live on Sandbridge, both swells were so crazy. Sea was angry in the morning, looked like a viking hellscape.

I hear what you are saying about shifting sands...Our beach set up in Delaware is not what it used to be in years past in my opinion...I don't know if it's the dredging or what but it's definitely changed... OC Maryland too...New Jersey seems to have gotten better though.
I feel it dude, I grew up surfing OCMD and still return every hurricane season. It isn't what it was even five years ago.

I have never made it out of even 10 barrels in one day. Brett made about 50 in this video

Awesome video! Peaks are looking so fun. The CI 2.Pro looks good, I am thinking of getting one myself. How would you size the 2.pro compared to the Driver 3.0 which i surf currently and like in terms of size? the 2.pro has more rocker than the driver 3, is it correct?

I think it has more to do with the way the lows are crossing offshore. These lows never really find open water UNTIL Jersey! It could be worse you could be here in ILM!
That has nothing to do with our sandbars… it was bombing swell both times, with tons of fetch. The December swell was 20ft. Our sands just horrible.

Speaking of the bars changing. I paused the intro just to look at how different the point is compared to how it is on your video intros. Unfortunately we probably wont ever see it like thst again but i guess you never know
