That was a nice trip, even though the weather seemed to be quite… british lol Watching your last few videos, you seem to not really like the Trekkertent that much? I bought my Trekkertent Stealth 2 (40D Nylon version with the solid inner) a few months ago and there is definitely a learning curve in getting the right pitch. For example I pitch the rear pole up to 10 cm and the front pole up to 15 cm higher than recommended to get more airflow (might adjust depending on the wind) and made a few simple modifications to get a better and faster pitch. Maybe you‘d like to try some of them: 1) I replaced the shock cords that suspend the inner with longer ones and tied them in a way so that they are adjustable to accommodate different height pitches. 2) I used toggles and o-rings to attach the inner directly to the rainfly, so I can pitch it faster in the rain. This also allows you to unclip the inner if you want to store it separately when the fly is wet. 3) I tied a line between the two corners in the front, because I always messed up the width between these. I got saggy and bad pitches the first few times. Oh and I have a two way zipper on the vestibule in my tent, if you have that too you can probably feed the guyline through the vent and have it out of the vestibule :) This tent definitely does not fit everyone’s needs in a shelter, nor is it anywhere near perfect, but I have grown to like it as I love the retro look and its low profile. If you don’t like the tent than that’s absolutely fine. You need to feel comfortable in your shelter. Anyway, nice video and greetings from Germany!
Hello mate, sorry for delayed response, been a manic few weeks for me. Yeah, I'm not a massive fan of the Trekkertent Stealth. I don't hate it, but I just think it's not for me. I can 100% see why people like it though. Like you I've worked out that you need to set the pole a little higher than recommended. I do actually find really easy to pitch once you know how. Great tips though mate. I like the idea of changing the shock cords for the inner. I do find it a bit limiting that they don't include adjusters to get a more taught pitch based on the height. Yeah I also have a two way zipper, which is a great addition, something that my new Bonfus tent lacks. I think I've sorted the guy line and pole issue by offsetting it and that does make the vestibule much more usable. I will probably sell my Stealth, but plan on taking it out a few more times and put it through its paces in the winter. Like I say, I don't hate it, but it's just not for me. Thanks so much for watching and for the tips mate. Really useful and I appreciate it. Glad you enjoyed the video too. 👍🏻
Cheers mate. It's taken a long long time to get there. Just would be nice if my videos got more views, but hey ho. It was a shitty camp, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Felt weird putting such a short video together.
Thanks matey. Was so grotty up there, we couldn't see a thing. Was still really busy. Far too many people around for my liking. I think I'll stick to the North side in the future. Thanks for watching pal. Look forward to seeing your 3 nighter video.

You did well to pull this together. I wouldn't be surprised if the edit for this was bit of a slog. ☁️🌧️🌨️☁️🌧️
Well tbh mate, I didn't film much. I wasn't really in the mood for it. Surprised I managed to get a video pulled together at all.
Jeez, what is with this British summer. Absolute washout compared to July in 2022/23
It's been absolute garbage. Although I write this after getting sunburnt in the Lakes and sitting in my home sweating my balls off. 😂
Put your finger on it! I cant believe you're still in your down gear. Great video again mate
Yeah great. I'll put my tongue on it next time!! I know right? I feel like I always have to take my down pants with me. 🤷
@@trickofthetrail it's true, you may as well be a goose
Hey congrats Mark on your 1k...🎉,great stuff.
You got a lot of footage from a shitty camp, enjoyed it tho... Enjoyed watching the suffering. Cheers 👍
1k hot tub stream celebration?

Nice video Mark.👍 I've got back from a 3 nighter today, so I've just watched this. It looked like a wet one mate.🙂

Great camp to watch mate and can learn so much from it, cheers pal 🍺👍
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed it. Even though the weather was pants, still had a great time. Cheers for watching and commenting. 👍
Legend has it that you were actually born wearing down pants.
😂 That legend might well be true.
The Great British Summer
Don't we all just love it? 😂 Seems the same routine every year now.
More problems with the Trekkertent?
Yeah, I can't say I'm loving it mate. Just not enough space. It has its pros, but it's not for me.
Did the tent keep the rain out ?
Well, there was a small puddle of water in the tent when I woke up. Not sure if that was condensation though. Other than that, yes it did. 👍🏻
