It's so sweet, when at the very end, as he's recalling his case, he's like "it's one I think about a lot." It really shows how much these professionals care about their patients.

As a person who never had good experience with doctors or hospitals, those videos restore my faith in doctors and prove that there are still people who care and know what they are doing.

Same! I’m currently taking post-baccalaureate courses as I got my degree in a non-science field and neuroscience is, hands down, my best and most favourite unit
      Good luck to you!!

Everyone wants to be a neurologist but not everyone will sacrifice the time to be on.
It's one of the hardest specialties because the study years are longer AND the working time is higher.

God bless you neruodoctors! My father had a total of 11 STROKES!! The only thing that took him out was pancreatic cancer, and even that almost lost! A large chunk of his recovery was done by you angels!

Hey there 🤗🤗 I have been through really tough times in medical school too. Take a break as many times as you need! I know it is a lot to study, but even small breaks are better than none and go tonthe window or out for a walk...do not just use your break to scroll on the phone. Give your mind and body a true relaxation. So, cherish the importance of having a pause and not studying non stop. Also, think about how you need to be fully present in the moment and find little things to enjoy in this experience, even if it is hard, because this hard time will go away, but you will remain with yourself and you need to be healthy, balanced. Prioritise your health! Nothing deserves your health. If it is TOO MUCH, better take a longer break than sacrifice your health. More hugs. You will make it through with God's help 🤗

well man it all depends. if they told you to see a neurologist it only means that your problem isnt associated with the lens or optic nerve of your eye, its about how its connected to your brain, which pretty much means that the problemis that something in the back of your brain, or maybe your optic chiasm or other parts have an issue which is impacting your vision

en I could finally open my eye I only saw yellow. Life went on around that time I started having nose bleeds only when I slept. That went away after a few months. Fast forward I’m 18 I did cocaine started having seizures so I stopped but the seizures didn’t. I ended up in a wheelchair lost the use of my legs after a year regain the ability to walk. After a year seizures stopped never came back. Was told I had an avm that was the cause of my seizures but I didn’t fit all the criteria. Said avm was a birth defect. They couldn’t find the real reason. Fast forward 24 I get into a minor car accident they do scans see I have a facial fracture n a broken neck. After further inspection see the fracture is old and the cervical subluxation was a birth defect. I realized the facial fracture was probably from when I fell as a child. My father never took me to the doctors for the fall just put an eye patch to cover the black eye. Could the fall have caused the avm and cervical subluxation? If so would that explain issues in my mental cognitive and physical pain now at 35?
