I'm not sure if there are any commercial voice activated ones, but many now include apps for the popular mobile OSes. I would imagine it to be possible to modify one to work like this, One advantage to something like this is it basically works on any configuration. Do you have a hacker space near by you could reach out too? I'm sure they would love the challenge of helping you out, and getting to hack on some hardware at the same time as a group effort!

@NicksGarageDoor It depends on how you implement it, a short answer is it can be as secure as you want it. Siriproxy requires a specific certificate on each device it will interact with and other security can be implemented on top of that including location based checks, If you use another front end instead of siri/proxy you can then implement whatever security there as well as at the hardware level too.

Yeap, not as cool as everything on a Pi like your setup, but at the time it got the job done when there wasnt a Pi :)
