I'm usually way too lazy to remove the flux THAT meticulously .. on a good day, I might threw some isoprop on there and wipe it of.

Hello. I have same problem with ch1. I replaced current sensor, diode , and I got magic smoke from op amp U18. Do you know the name of that chip ?. I know is dual op amp by checking power lines goes to pin 4 (-15V) and pin 8 (+15). Thank you

It's much faster and safer to cut a known defective component off the board and then remove the old component legs using tweezers whilst applying the soldering iron. Resolder the empty holes after this step is completed and then use a solder sucker to clear them completely prior to installing the new component.

I have the FLIR attachment for my phone, its the older model for iPhone 5 but you can get the newer version on amazon for pretty cheap it looks like the pro version is a bit more but not even that bad compared to what I paid for mine. www.amazon.com/stores/page/DD72548F-4058-4E74-B3C6-49B6A0C793B4?store_ref=SB_A02546142KIAO3MROJREH&pf_rd_p=3ff6092e-8451-438b-8278-7e94064b4d42&hsa_cr_id=6528274380101&lp_slot=auto-sparkle-hsa-tetris&lp_asins=B07DM8DG1B,B07DM8NMH1,B07DMK1ZKP&lp_mat_key=flir%20one&lp_query=flir%20one&sb-ci-n=headline&sb-ci-v=Turn%20your%20phone%20into%20a%20Thermal%20Camera
