Pub, ah yes. A meeting place where people attempt to achieve advanced states of mental incompetence, by the repeated consumption of fermented vegetable drinks.
Ah wow, I’ve been a RD fan since around the time this was first shown and I’ve never heard that fact before bizarrely! Thank you for sharing that…you learn something new (and hugely important in this case obviously) every day! 🙏😆
Even though it isn't fully shown here, Kryten defines a pub and doesn't know what one is. A few episodes earlier (Backwards), he was in a pub and knew what it was.
Kryten as a character blows up continuity a good couple of times. S3E6 'The Last Day' he shuts down the incoming 'replacement' android by lying about silicon heaven not existing. Immediate next episode, S4E1 'Camille' the B plot is Lister trying to teach Kryten how to lie, and how he struggles with it. Watching those two episodes in reverse order is so much better continuity and is that more satisfying that it's crazy they weren't aired in the reverse order anyway. Oh well, that's still ignoring that on the same episode, Kryten struggles to insult Rimmer, ignoring how he had no real issue with it by the end of the episode where his first incarnation shows up on the show then leaves for a good while. Continuity is really not the strong suit, or really the point, of Red Dwarf, to be honest
@@ProcrastinationHyperfocus I'm pretty sure they wrote at the beginning of series 3 that Kryten crashed his bike and had to be put back together with a spare head that reset his personality. Your still right in general though about continuity and Red Dwarf.
Not sure if you've found out already, but both are members of the British band Carcass. Bill (the drummer) plays guitar and Jeff (the bassist) plays bass (obviously) and is also the lead vocalist.
whats does the song title that random guy said to his friend? and the drummer (bill steer) is some kind of freemason what? i can understand british accent clearly :D
@AsurorusA I know this was from 2 years ago but you said "the brittish accent"? Britain is 4 countries, each split up into different sections with their own accents.
You can hear Reek of Putrefaction in there...
man Ive saw this numerous times but I never realised it was Bill and Jeff MIND BLOWN!!!!!
Too old and too crypto-fascist.
Me as well. Big Carcass fan, big Red Dwarf fan. Never knew the connection.
Me too! They must’ve got on backstage after “What’s that noise?”
Bills druming always reminded me of Incarnated solvent abuse, totally shadey.
I absolutely love carcass and red dwarf. And didn't know this untill today hahaha
Necroticism - Descanting The Om-Salubrious..
"Nothing like a good old-fashioned love song" 🤣🤣🤣
One of the funniest scenes in Red Dwarf
"Ommmmmmmmmm............."
I liked it when he said "Om"
I thought it was quite crypto-facist.
The song is called Om
Actually he became Grand Wizard of Death Metal guitarists.
What people aren’t noticing as well is the main actor is the guy who presented when napalm death and bill steer were on bbc
Pub, ah yes. A meeting place where people attempt to achieve advanced states of mental incompetence, by the repeated consumption of fermented vegetable drinks.
Destroyed in the year 2020.
he became a grandwizard in the freemasons
Thus, Om was formed
Dude I noticed how doomy it sounded.
If you play the Om Song backwards, you get "mo, mo, mo..."
In the midnight hour
Watching RD for the n'th time and just started listening to carcass lol. Had to come by and check if i was right :P
He was a neomarxist nihilistist anarchist ^^
Eventually he joined a large insurance company and got his own parking space.
Far more talented than Jedward could ever be....
Think it's Craig Charles brother "omming" as well
It is.
confirmed
Yep, Emile

Craig was apparently rude to Jeff about it years later when reminded. See the Carcass documentary. It's a Liverpool thing.
very fun!!! excelent!!!
Ommmmm 😂
yeah... at 0:15

well technically it was going backwards so he prob saw the pub in (Backwards) after this occasion
@@unstableordinance no one likes a smart arse, (very clever answer about backwards being in the future)

Who are they?
I'm going to sound dumb asking this, but which ones are Bill & Jeff and what was they famous for?
Not sure if you've found out already, but both are members of the British band Carcass.

@@SnackToxin I'll have a listen to them some day. The name does sound familiar.
I'm pretty sure you"re being sarcastic. Otherwise you're a dumb!

plop!
I have heard weirder Avant Garde compositions
It reminds me a bit of Endless Nameless by Nirvana. Yes, I agree.
i rkn ayee
thats epic. :)
Who?
Which series is that? Halarious
3rd
Is it really though, or a joke that it looks like them?
Google it
Totally shady!

Britain is 4 countries, each split up into different sections with their own accents.
Can you distinguish a Chinese accent from a Korean or Japanese one? Or do you just hear an Asian accent?
@@spentfromnz Which part of China?
; )
@@spentfromnz India and China are both in Asia but their accents are completely different.
Why’d they do this lol

Will you stop saying everythings crypto-facist.
Young Dave Lister was a terrible songwriter. No song has only one lyric.
Totally shady!
