One of my favorite episodes! My husband and I would watch Red Dwarf on Saturday nights with Chinese takeout while dating in the nineties. We just celebrated 17 years of marriage... thanks, Red Dwarf!

For years, Flibble has been my older brother's nickname for me. I remember when I was about seven and he was about twelve, he started to watch Red Dwarf. He somehow thought that "Flibble" sounded like my name, Libby. I was confused, so he showed me a picture of Mr. Flibble. I didn't really understand. Now I'm twelve, and just recently watched this episode. I'm obsessed. This (and David Tennant's Doctor Who, of course) is absolutely the best show. Ever.

If you like Red Dwarf I also recommend Firefly. It's a tad more gory and "sexed" up but it's really awesome.

I used to wonder why people considered Chris Barrie the star of the show when Lister is set up as the protagonist. Then I saw this episode.
For me this is the best Red Dwarf episode by some margin.

Red Dwarf did a great line in comedy horror that was actually scary, because the writing and the performances were just so good. I'll always remember the triplicator episode with the evil version of Red Dwarf was very disturbing to watch as a kid.
3:10 - The scary thing is that Mr Flibble is part of the holograpic projection. Meaning that he could well have had the ability to see the other crews members when he peeped around the corner, earlier, at 2:42.
How the hell they managed to get Chris Barrie into that dress I will never know!

The hex-vision used to creep me out as a kid. Still a great episode though.
When I was a little kid, it was just Low Rimmer that creeped me out, this part didn't. Chris Barrie does play crazy well in both instances.
