Thank you so much! Practice, practice, practice. I definitely cringed in pain learning it and before I got to the point that I could play it like that, haha. It's a workout for the forearm for sure! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Very nice. once in a while i work on this also. I was wondering do they or you play those fast b 0 000 like d dud or dudu? You know what i mean? :D either way it's bloody fast and hard.
Thank you so much. Not quite sure what you mean, but I would say however that the do the harder way which ever way that is 😆 they don't take any short cuts, hehe
@@johanlund yes and i think the "harder" way feels little more natural atleast for me 😃 i tend to play it like DUD D, DUD D, DUD D etc 😃 its a good down picking exercise. If played with consistent alternate picking the timing is maybe little harder but the picking is little easier.
Thanks dude! Yeah, I guess my mixing approach is a bit different than how they used to mix the genre. And also, those guys were geniuses, I am not, lol. But glad you dig it! 😃🤘🏻
@@johanlund yeah they really pushed the guitar sound of death metal forward. When sots was released death metal basically sounded like it was recorded in a spare beer can they had pulled out of the trash bin. Sots changed metal in a way that too few people appreciate fully
Thank you so much! No, it should be tuned as the original. :) However, they recorded it with a 6 string guitar, so the sound is quite different from mine, I can agree. I might re-do this cover with my Grindstein pedal and see if I can get closer to the original sound 😁🤘🏻🤘🏻
@@johanlund Ok thanks man. That's the way I was playing it all those years too. But another guitarist that we're playing together in a band told me it's all downstrokes (although he's not able to play it hahah). I told him there's no way these are all downstrokes, even At the Gates guitarists play it with alternate on the sixth string. Awesome cover by the way.

Love that you left in the "go!" but cut all the rest of the vocal track 😂 nice touch!
Hehe, thanks dude B-)
A solar and at the gates super dope so very underrated
this cover is awesome!

Brutalll exelente
Gracias! 🤟🤟
Sick cover! The preset sounds a little compressed compared to the good old Boss Heavy Metal pedal, but excellent playing and production! B standard?!
Thank you so much! Yes, that's correct, B standard. 🤘🏻
Agree, tone too compressed and lacks that thick crunchy chewy shit
amazing cover man!!!

great!!
Pinky out like a real gentleman

Great cover! I was wondering if you would be willing to share your backing track that you programmed?
Brutal!!
Dude that's sick playing !!!
All that picking on the 7th string, is that downstrokes or alt? talkin bout the first two riffs.
Thank you so much dude! Yes sir, I tried to downstroke as much as possible, besides the triplet stuff of course, I'm only human, lol 😆

Well, in the end, if it sounds good, it sounds good, right? 🙂🤘🏻
Your guitar tone is super dirty, bassy, and rumbly more similar to djent than old melodeath but I like the way it sounds

their tone was two metal zone pedals into the clean channel of a peavy amp😂🤦♂sounds crazy but apparently it works lol
Great!! Is the song 1 note under? The original one is B estándar, i think, this one? Thanks

Are these downstrokes or alternate picking in the beginning?
The triplets (of course, I'm not John Browne, hehe) and the notes on the 6th string are alternate. The rest is downstrokes 🤘🏻

Hi, what is the name of the guitar and the effects that you used?
Hey dude! It's a Solar Guitars A1.7ETC and the effect (if it's the amp sim you mean..?) is a STL Tones Tonality Will Putney suite. :)
