It's definitely nice having variation. Great to change up squats. I enjoy it for good mornings, walking lunges, Hatfield squats. Just hits a bit different. And like you said, it's a nice option when the shoulders need a break. I bought a squat bar from Strong Arm Sport and absolutely love squatting with it too.
I started using mine about 3 weeks ago for Hatfield squats and I immediately felt stronger on my back squats on the days I program them. I use the SSB for the usual stuff like good mornings and calf raises but the Hatfield squat was suggested to me recently and I was like where has this movement been all my life.
I like them, mainly squats and good mornings as you say, but also have used for lunges and spilt squats

The bar looks nice and clean! Is the same model that you are using available on Amazon ?
Should be, yes!
Love my Marrs Bar, ruined me from ever using a straight bar again.
You feel like an SS bar is closer to a high bar or low bar squat?
High bar for sure
@@FitnessNews24 Agreed, for me it's like a front squat too if you don't pull down on the handles and just hang on to it.
🤦 *Promo SM*
