This is nice. Please also do a video of ewet housing estate. That one is nice too . Be sure to capture Edet Akpan avenue while at it. I only imagine what Dakkada luxury estate will look like on completion. As it s supposed to out do shelter afrique in terms of affluence

I swear to God this place is more 10 times beautiful than banana island lagos. Even the lekki is just hype i swear on gad . Mehhn look how beautiful the streets are looking and sweet road network but lekki traffic will drain ur blood especially the bad water . Nice video bro i enjoy watching your content ❤👍
@@JD-zh1el this is my 33 yrs born brought up in lagos. All my life has been lagos even the lekki was developed in my own eyes. Very nice neighborhood. I love how lush it is. The plot sizes are quite large. I'm from Southern California which is basically a desert region and for the last couple of years I've wanted to relocate to West Africa on a nice plot of land so I can grow plantains, coconut trees...☺ My only vice with this neighborhood is the lack of mantainence for the vacant plots within the community. I see this often in West Africa and it would bother me to invest in a gorgeous home where the surrounding properties are unkept; in the US this seriouly lowers the value of homes/neighborhoods. Thanks for the video David! Love from your African American sister. Be blessed.🙋🏾♀️🙏🏿
Thank you for watching. Don't. Let this discouraged you. We are waiting for you to come home. Maybe you do a 2 weeks visit to taste the waters before making the relocation move. My regards to Mummy

There are a number of great schools in Shelter Afrique and its environs. What I'm not sure of tho is hospitals. Will do a survey on that and get back to you soon.
If you're asking about Hospitals in Uyo generally, then there are quite a good number of them. And I mean hospitals with world class facilities and good services
Shelter afrique is a nice neighbourhood for those that can afford it. It's still developing as a lot of the plots are yet to be developed but it is decently laid out. I think you should do a video of Ewet as well (though it's older). And also check out Osongama estate (this I think will see lots of development in a few years time because of the ring road three that's being constructed. Which runs past it, coming from the University). There's a new state government estate that government is beginning to do engineering works for as has been said to beat out the shelter afrique completely by design when it's ready for private individuals to move in and build. I feel it's time Akwa Ibom State government develope one upscale estate around Ibom Icon hotel to complement the already pleasant aerial shots of that axis m

Shelter Afrique from 2015 till 2021 had witnessed a lot of people moving out of their homes and there were delays in plans to develop a lot of infrastructure due to management crises. All that is changing now tho.

If people were not so obsessed with Lagos they would live in other parts of Nigeria. Lagos is a mess.

How much does a plot of land cost here
From 20 - 45 million depending on the area (size)
Uyo has a good express roads but no good inland roads.
How can this place be called a city? With few family houses. Jeez!
