    Hey David. Your cinematography is world-class impeccable; you have a serious talent for framing a shot. And your production is BBC documentary standard. It blows my mind that it used to take 20 people with the financial backing of a media conglomerate to make content of this quality 10 years ago, and you're matching that quality on a miniscule budget. When you're famous, I'll be telling my grandkids " I was watching David Nkwa on UA-cam way-before he was a household name" :-)
    Keep doing what you're doing chap - the audience you deserve will come in time.

    Why not for Uyo, that has been around since the time of the first military Governor Jacob Esuene, who built it, and beautifying it. He was exceptionally good. The beauty of Uyo, Eket and the entire Akwa Ibom, did not start 24 years ago, but more 60 years ago, it started. Other governors came adding a bit to it, even they chop chop, sliding things and money into their pockets, pretending to transform the State. The truth is many staff workers are not paid and the retirees are starving, for years and months now. That is called corruption, when the governors and local government chair persons stashed tge state money of the state for themselves and their cronies, when the masses are starving and unemployed, as the same masses are bowing down to those corrupt leaders of theirs. In this Dakadah State, in which our political leaders have put us in, by sharing money in billions among themselves, looting our state treasury, and binding our people's critical reasonings and voices in prison. Our people are never lazy people, never sat down in a place for long, never asleep, our political leaders when they are almost done with their political tenure, they would bring in a successor, blindfolding the people, for that to be democracy. Our people are hardworking and successful by nature. One tree cannot form a forest. How can one stand up without any incentive from the government that is so rich and the people of the State and Nigeria are so impoverished? Look, there is no one laying down there; waiting for the government, which was supposed to be government for the people and by the people. The problem is the government the only cares for the political officials, and protects only members of their cronies, of which there is no light power and no security for members of the public. The so called government is so mean, and so rude to it's citizens.

      If you say that Uyo is a town and not a city, what's the definition of a city? Uyo is a city and not a town.

    • @youme1414
      @youme1414 2 роки тому +1

      @@nsikakessien By definition a city is an urbanized area with large population, good and standardized infrastructural development(not red roofs duplexes or small roundabout only with two tall buildings, etc.), has larger markets for consumer goods. With many large offices which employ workers and often host international summits with a standby security. It is usually more developed that a town(like Uyo with few modern infrastructure, no large offices, etc).
      However, Uyo town is a conglomerate of villages spread within few kilometers. Even Britannica defines it as a town in Nigeria.
      It is surprising to see that every large town in Nigeria is being addressed as a city when it lacks the qualities.

Uyo have a 21 storey building (built with the latest technology) which none of the cities that you mentioned have, it has a modern soccer stadium, flyover bridges, modern residential estates, industrial estates, 4 modern motor parks, public gardens and parks for leisure, malls, Lounges, casino & night clubs, bars, foreign and local restaurants, large markets, hotels ranging from 5 star down, good schools, good health and medical facilities. Good road network (with multiple lanes), event centers. I was in Uyo last month and I wonder why people keep saying Uyo is this and that, on a serious note we have to stop this.. Uyo has good roads and clean environment but the buildings are not exceptional. Most areas still looking like a village, in my entire life I haven't seen an overrated place like Uyo. Cities like Enugu, Owerri, Asaba, Awka, warri, Benin, Onitsha, Aba has more city vibes and Masions, better buildings than Uyo.. the only area Uyo is better is good roads and clean environment.. if those cities can clean up their environments, plant trees and work on the roads, we won't be talking about Uyo. I went to Uyo I was impressed by the roads but not the town

      @Nsikak, for me I don't get into the discussion of comparing cities, that's not my job, but any subscriber in here are entitled to their views,based in their experience.
      Uyo is a younger city, it's got certain things going for it, like the road. Interns of housing it also got good building, but that does not mean it has gotten there yet, so people coming from other cities may look at it differently. It's their opinion
      But what I see is that,once People have a different view about Uyo rather than praises they always get attacked. I means it's there view.
      I even have someone who was attacking me because he watch only one part of a video that shows road drive and not other infrastructure in the state, as if he sent me work 🤣
      meanwhile am sure the Fellow have not done . anything better than me to promote his beloved state, while on the otherside, even though am not from Uyo, I have contributed more to Awka Ibom, through my work, organisation and investment than that fellow, but because we carry camera and shoot video on UA-cam, some people think, that's all we do.
      Probably when they see me dining with their Governor then they will understand, I have Access and I have done things and still doing, but we are not here to show ourselves nor s it professionals to display what we do.
      Let Everyman be entitled to their opinion that's my own sha.
      Uyo is doing well. But if someone have a different opinion, it's their opinion. That's why it's UA-cam, everybody has got opinion here.
