Hey yogis, by popular request here's a 30 minute yoga class for sore muscles! This sequence will go over some of my favorite yoga poses and stretches to do when I'm feeling very sore and stiff after a workout.
This is a wonderful sequence to do on your "rest" day to help your muscles recover. This is suitable for all levels of experience so enjoy :)

This video is really great, as always! I was wondering whether you could also make a (shorter) video to prevent stifness while we travel - by train or airplane, or even car. I always find myself sore and stiff the next day, and maybe a few stretches during the trip would go a long way.

Thank you so much for this class. So good for my acheing muscles. I have done your 30 days 10 minutes morning practise twice. Picked the ones I found suitable together with my usual morning yoga practice. I turned 75 years old this month and hope to be able to do this for years to come. In my country, Sweden, people over 70 are allowed to go out only to go to the pharmacy and the groceries due to the corona.

Today’s yoga realization was that I was doing this for myself. To ease my pain. I don’t have to do it at the same pace, I don’t have to do the same poses, and I can do what feels right for my body and mind in the moment. This practice is compassion for myself. It is to be kind and loving to my body and mind.
This is one of the best yoga stretches I've experienced so far. Unconsciously, I am saying 'ooohhh'' and 'aahhhh' in all the right & tight places. I have a lot of muscle knotting, mainly in the upper back due to poor posture over the years and your videos help identify those areas and bring the best out of my body. Keep it up!

Did various strength training for an hour, then was on my feet and running around for another four hours at work. Felt absolutely dead when I got home, both my mind and muscles. This did the trick!! Great reset at the end of the day. Subscribed!

Thank you so much. I just started a very physical job and have had daily joint/muscle pain that has kept me from sleeping. This is the first time in days I have had relief from the pain and tightness. :)
I didn't have an injury - just stiff and sore from lack of activity in lockdown and this has really helped! Going to be doing it every evening now, and just found your 10 minute morning routine too - awesome! Just what I need to get me loosened up in the morning whilst being manageable with a young child in tow! These are really clear classes with really helpful tips and reminders for keeping your posture in alignment without talking too much (which tends to throw me off!). Thank you so much! You've saved my aching lockdown body!

I danced for 9 hours yesterday and woke up so sore from everything and I decided to search up stretches for relieving my sore muscles and I did 10 minutes of this and I felt so much better. So glad I stumbled upon this

First time doing one of your videos and I really appreciate how you explain the poses a bit more than what I’ve had before, for example when you said that reverse pigeon should be a passive stretch I relaxed my shoulders and it was a much better stretch! Thank you for sharing

Hi Kassandra! This was very helpful. I like to do a good, long stretch before and after working out. I get a better workout and am not so sore later.
Every time I do this, which is once a week on my rest day from weights, I fall into such a deep sleep during the final resting pose it’s such a jump scare when Kassandra says to take a deep breath haha
Toe squat wrecked my self confidence. Other than that, good stuff.
