This video is really great, as always! I was wondering whether you could also make a (shorter) video to prevent stifness while we travel - by train or airplane, or even car. I always find myself sore and stiff the next day, and maybe a few stretches during the trip would go a long way.
Today’s yoga realization was that I was doing this for myself. To ease my pain. I don’t have to do it at the same pace, I don’t have to do the same poses, and I can do what feels right for my body and mind in the moment. This practice is compassion for myself. It is to be kind and loving to my body and mind.
I’ve noticed that when I start my day with gentle, smooth movements, I’m so much more likely to go through the rest of my day with more gentleness and ease 💛✨ Thank you!
New to yoga. I'm a doctor and my body takes a hit after 24+ of no sleep. I'm a day post call, despite sleeping 8 hours last night my body was still sore. This really helped. Love it and subscribed.

I used to practice lots before children and now I can again without leaving my house, once kids are in bed or when they are at school..

Going to be doing it every evening now, and just found your 10 minute morning routine too - awesome! Just what I need to get me loosened up in the morning whilst being manageable with a young child in tow! These are really clear classes with really helpful tips and reminders for keeping your posture in alignment without talking too much (which tends to throw me off!). Thank you so much! I really love this video. It has a lot of my favourites poses from your other videos combined. I’ve had 20 years of chronic persistent pain and every time I get into an exercise program, the pain eventually flares up and creates new pains. I now have a better understanding of the role the brain plays in neuroplastic pain which is what my pain is, so your gentle stretching yoga videos have helped me be consistent without too much flare up. Although I did try an intermediate video last week and it was a little too much for my body still. But I’m determined to keep going. Thanks again Cassandra!

First time doing one of your videos and I really appreciate how you explain the poses a bit more than what I’ve had before, for example when you said that reverse pigeon should be a passive stretch I relaxed my shoulders and it was a much better stretch! Thank you for sharing

I danced for 9 hours yesterday and woke up so sore from everything and I decided to search up stretches for relieving my sore muscles and I did 10 minutes of this and I felt so much better. So glad I stumbled upon this
I plant trees as a job which requires me to be very physical and basically bend over thousands of times a day with as much as 50 lbs around my hips and on my shoulders. Because it's so unique and a seasonal, I'm not maintaining the practice year round and there is almost no way to truly train my body for it, the beginning of the season usually leaves me feeling debilitated. I woke up feeling awful this morning on my day off and after doing this, I feel so much better. Thank you!
