Actually 4/8. Coaches have to deal with player personnel proficiency in each of these categories they may not have an oreb guy or a 3 pt shooter but they might have an elite 2pt finisher who gets fts. In high volume rate and creates steals as a defender. So to optimize what he has and maximize outcomes the coach creates an offense that gives that player driving lanes. Or the contrary maybe true and he has a 3pt shooter and an oreb guy but no driver and no steal rate defender that will force the coach to structure the team offense and defense a different way maybe causing him to use zones for example. Talent varies coaches adjust. You can have some great coaches who optimize talent and still lose because it's what you do with what you've got vs what they have that you don't. Or as pat summits dad told her after a losing streak where she optimized. " there are no donkeys at the Kentucky derby" . She upped her talent pool and the rest is a HOF story.
