- In this video, Mallorca Nightlife: How lively is Cala Bona? (Majorca), Spain, find out what the nightlife is like in Cala Bona during August.
This video was filmed in August 2022, find out why Cala Bona at night has a fantastic atmosphere with live music and dancing right through the resort.
Attracting an older crowd than you would find in Magaluf for example, find out why this resort caters not only for families but for those who still want to party in a safe and friendly environment.
Join me as I walk from the Alicia Portur Hotel past the 60's Bar, the Hotel Sur, through to Cala Bona Hotel where Il Quattro, Il Divo Tribute band sing.
I then head along the Marina and back through the waterfront restaurants, and back past an even more lively Hotel Sur bar, and back to the 60s Pub to give you an idea of what to expect if you are planning a holiday to Cala Bona. You will also see the quieter areas to visit if you want a quiet night out.

Nothing nicer than coming home from work than to open a big box of chocolates and settle down to watch a fantastic episode of Mallorca Under The Sun! A real treat to watch. The music you edited in sounded great and I can really imagine the from the visuals and the music you have been able to use that the was amazing! I just want to get out there and party! Hotel Calabona sounds brilliant and it I enjoyed the interview with the lady chatting about the entertainment there! Loved all the music you edited in. Fanatastic video!! Thank you! Awww, thanks so much Louise. After doing the live stream and making 3 other videos (2 for the paper and another one yet to be released in Cala Millor), by the time I got to Cala Bona, I was pretty whacked. But I couldn't believe the atmposphere when I got there. It was literally the place to be that night!

Been going here for 15 years and absolutely love the place and would be there in a heartbeat if possible. Will have to wait till next June for the first of my stays in the Moreyo, a fab little hotel. Hi Dave, I would've loved that being a massive Coldplay fan! I'll look out next year for sure! Although I would go and enjoy because I don't remember any other resort having this much music and being this lively. It took a couple of attempts to cover up the copyrighted music!

The il divo tribute band are called il quattro as saw them a couple of times this past year on the island. As you say they were fantastic
I actually had to Google photos to check it wasn't really them. Absolutely amazing. I'll be tracking them down next year for sure. Best atmposhere ever!

Love Cala Bona, we had our honeymoon there, after going long haul to hotels in the middle nowhere I prefer getting out and doing our own thing in European resorts, great video, brings back so many memories

Honestly, Cala Bona as an amazing atmosphere, and it's as chilled out as it is a great party spot. Very unique resort in my opinion

2 things you missed out which I think are a must..... Walk straight past the hotel cala bona and around the corner and there's a pizzeria on the right with insane views in the day. And of course opposite the protur Alicia (my favourite hotel) is the entertainment at the Atalon

We always stay up around Puerto Pollensa and Alcudia, but I'll be checking this area out when we return in July.

Yes, stay in the Protur Alicia best morning views you could imagine
Wrong coast for sunset but great sunrise views.
Have to admit I haven't seen a good sunset from here, but I guess from a hotel on a high up floor you will get it looking west... Sunrises will be fab tho!
