Are there any coastal towns or villages that do not look like this 'Blackpool with sun'? I am sure the countryside is lovely, maybe because there are no streets of Tavernas, all night bars, Spar shops, souvenir shops, cheap clothes shops etc., etc. I am sure Benidorm is 'Quite nice' for a certain demographic of people too. What you and others blogging on the same subject do is, unwittingly, show a side of a place you are NOT focussing on and that is where i and many others look to find our opinion of a place. FYI., i love Granada, Seville, Valencia, Barcelona, Madrid, the Basque country. Your homework is to tell me why. If you can't have a guess.
