Dude I gotta say your channel is like a masterclass in personal branding. I haven’t seen anyone else on your level since Ken block. You create content consistently on a high level and blend your interests and passions into your work in a really good way. If you offered a course on personal branding I would def take it.
Fellow Storyteller Classic owner here. The number one for me, as far as really upping the van's game is upgrading the suspension. Forget the off-road improvements: it makes highway driving *so* much better that it has to be number one for me.
Agree 100% about mattress & seats… being a Transit Van owner the stock seats are torture and the Scheel-Mann now makes my van into a luxury vehicle, simple transformation and worth every dime! Talon you have built the ultimate van with the best products from the best builders in the market today, I would love know how much is invested in your build from the retail customer side?
In regards to number one: in my time in the US military I never once had a comfortable rack. Post military I spent a very high majority of that sleeping on a in-expensive import futon or a camp pad off grid bikepacking. Even while being a caregiver for a parent for eight years I slept on a deteriorating cushions on a 4’ loveseat. Fast forward to three years as a full-time Overland and I have a really expensive multi layer memory foam mattress that I never use. Most the time I just sleep on a folded in half military wool blanket in the back of the rig occasionally I will roll out a very inexpensive import foam cot pad.
Hey Talon, another great vid. It's not talked about a lot when discussing must-haves, but I'm always thankful for my ceramic tint (especially in the greenhouse of a Sprinter). Good to say hi in Montrose and look forward to hanging out at an upcoming event! 🚐💨
Thank you for another great video. For mattress, why not use a futon? You can roll it up and toss it to a corner if u need more space, I used it in my student years and it was not that bad, any thoughts on that?
@@TalonSei Thank You, I will be deciding between a Mode LT, or just custom build by Advanced RV (ARV), still thinking :) ...and if I may...please do a video on ARV.
Where did you get the sheets for the Ultra Luxe mattress? CAV only has sheets for the Luxe5 mattress on their site. I love the sheets you have so neat and tidy.
When you met with Jason from Canyon Adventure he showed you the vacuum and pullout toilet. What do you think of toilet why did you go for the vacuum over the toilet?
I tried to upgrade my mattress for my STO LT, but Canyon Adventure Van did not want to sell me one. I do don’t know why. Then, I tried to buy other items. Again, they keep telling me they do not have items for sale for my van. However, it is all over their website. I am just going to keep looking for other companies who will appreciate my business.

That’s a huge compliment man. Thank you so much 👊🏻👊🏻

Agreed. My list was not in a particular order but suspension is definitely something you interact with / feel on the daily.

I had an uncle that did close to 10 years of care giving to a loved one, and I saw how hard it was, Kudos to you and happy travels!
What about a sound bar above where you took out those cabinets? That be a pretty sick look.
Love the van!!
That could be cool!

I also ceramic tinted mine! Huge improvement over regular tint 🤘🏼
Love the stereo upgrade 👌
Yup !
Thank you for another great video.

If you’re building your own van that would be a pretty easy route to go.

That's definitely interesting 🤔

They are from CAvans as well. A little tight but they still fit great.
How about a robot arm to fetch drinks and snacks out of the fridge while driving.
When you met with Jason from Canyon Adventure he showed you the vacuum and pullout toilet. What do you think of toilet why did you go for the vacuum over the toilet?
The storyteller comes with a cassette toilet and I opted not to carry it with me. I use the vac almost every day.
@@TalonSei do you have any toilet?
@@HarryKuloh he’s just said he has a cassette toilet in the comment above

They don’t make a mattress for the LT yet. It would be a different size than the Mercedes.
To each his own level of material
contentment. Enjoy!
How do you record your driving hours and miles, app, notebook???
The sprinter does it for me!
🤙🏼
