Mike, you are the absolute best! I requested this type of tutorial, so thank you. I ended up using a template envelope and modifying it a bit. But despite seeming simple, it threw me for a loop. And I am not a Maya beginner. Go figure :)

Great video, Mike. One question though. With the different extrudes you did the texturing shouldn’t have been that perfect. How much UV mapping did you have to do?

Thanks . As this is textured in Keyshot there are no UV's If I had textured this in for example SP I would have addressed that obviously

hey Mike....i want to know that why you were modelling simple and easy models every time? why don't you go some more deep into Maya with intermediate level models?

Sharook, I started doing time lapse videos on Fridays to do exactly that. ( Last 2 Fridays ) Making complicated models takes more time. But what would you like me to model ?
