Great to see y’all growing together. I own both Microtech and Heretic and they both have a place in the market and there is enough room in the market for both. I appreciate the customer service, the quality, and the constant innovation. It’s easy to get frustrated with the haters and focus on the negatives in life. It can definitely ignite the fire inside and drive one to be better. Remember to enjoy what you love about your passion and put that love into your work. I want to see you both continue your success and hope to see great things from y’all in the future. Good luck on the collaboration and everything to come. ❤
Glad to hear Tony mention he’s pushing his staff from a production stance point. It would explain why the trigger on my Delta shadow was rickety loose fresh out of the box. An unacceptable, avoidable quality control failure when charging Glock price points on a knife. It has a domino effect on consumer confidence paired with wasted time. Dirac Delta is an exceedingly beautiful piece of functional art however, such a simple oversight paired with Microtech’s suggested fix has diminished my confidence to a point where that Delta marks my last purchase. Time to move on to another brand.
I remember the Microtech MSAR I wanted one so bad back then but was a broke kid lol. Respect to you guys. I would be all in on a slip joint made by Microtech. 🔥
As much as it pains me to say, I have to give credit to Tony Jr, as my OTF experience as small as it has been in the knife world, his product so far has been better than Tony Sr's product from a quality control standpoint. I really like Microtech and their designs, and want to purchase a couple Marfione Custom knives, but the two signature series knives (Makora & Combat Troodon) I have purchased so far have had problems and required to get shipped back to Microtech and sit for a long time. This has stopped me from purchasing those custom knifes at this point. The single Heretic knife (Cleric II) so far has been rock solid. It's only a very small set, but so far 100% failure rate on Microtech's higher end knives and 100% success on Heretic's product. We will see if that holds true down the line, but its so far just my first impressions of both companies. 🤠👍 I am glad to see both companies doing well and hope they both continue to innovate and grow! 🗡🔪
1. Bought 3 microtechs from 3 different places recently. They were all sharp as fuck. 2. Tony calls his employees associates, not employees. 3. You need more?
