Nice video! I live on Kauai this was one of my first hikes when I moved here. The ocean on this beach tried to eat me so yes do not swim in this water at this particular beach. It has a severe drop off slope of sand that sucks you in and spits you out just long enough to suck you back down. I agree tho that it’s one of the best hikes on kauai.
That was a great hike. It was very muddy when I hiked in April 23 but well worth the effort for those water falls.
October November is a great time to visit weather wise. 😉

Remember it well. Including a stop on the way out where I was barefoot and someone yelled at me. You a local!
