ARCHIE BUNKER WAS RIGHT WHEN HE SAID THE EVERY PERSON ON THE GLOBE PUTS ON A SOX AND A SOX AND THEN A SHOE AND A SHOE. ARCHIE AT HIS ABSOLUTE BEST, BEYOND HILARIOUS!😂
He was an interim character. They created him because Sherman Hemsley was in a play and couldn't do the show, so they gave Henry all of George's storylines.
And the irony was, Richa Dee Nixon reportedly never thought much of the show. He did have a band of devoted followers on Queens, though.........Norman Lear did his homework on the political realities of New York City quite well
If you're gonna quote the Bible, do it right. It does NOT say a rich person (not only men) can't go to heaven. Only that it's not easy since rich people depend on their money to do everything for them, they find it harder to humble themselves to God. But some do. Archie was probably referring to 1 Timothy 6:7 when he said "You can't take it with you" but the actual verse says, "For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out."
I feel sorry for Archie Bunker he let his niece dictate him when it came to buying a apartment after Edith died 1980 he could have had a beautiful apartment but Stephanie she was always telling Uncle Archie what to do Anita so it's only worth 5,000 she died😢
@@lindablair9263 Actually, Archie and Edith DID live in an apartment when they first got married. It was on Union Street. But when Gloria was born, they bought the house on Houser Street. Which they almost lost because Archie insulted the owner and he refused to sell it to him. However, Edith charmed him into it.

YEAH! MYY FAVE LINE! LOL! SO FUNNY! I remembner that whenI was a kid when this came on!
Oh I didn’t catch that. 😂 I had heard “phantom”, so just listened again and heard ‘bantam’. This whole clip is fabulous 😂
Lmao!!! I love what Archie said about Henry leaving home. Priceless. 😂
"Richard E Nixon" LOL
my boy, Archie B.
Ahhh you must be a racist 😂
Henry Jefferson was never seen again, not even on The Jeffersons.

Richard E Nixon, not 'Dee.' Of course, the joke is that his name was actually Richard M. Nixon.
@@retroguy9494 I think Nixon himself jokingly said "Richard E" at some party event. O'Connor's malaprops were legendary. (see Gerald T. Ford)😀
@@66zebulon And don't forget his wife 'Betsy Ford' who Archie claimed, the CIA put 'LTD' in her cottage cheese! 😂
Lear sure did! And Nixon could recognize when he was being slyly roasted - and didn't appreciate it, but didn't mess with it either.
@@retroguy9494 M was for Milhous! I only just now found out how it was spelled. Thanks, Retro.
Stivic would be SO homeless.
King Richard LOL
A classic!!!

Archie got most everything wrong! 🙂
With men this is impossible, with God all things are possible
@@donreid6399 Wrong Archie got most everything right.
Would Archie be a Trumper? I’m not so sure
Archie? I think so. Carroll O' Connor? Pretty sure no! 🙂
Do you think that Carroll O Conner was a liberal?
@@supercaptainbatdoggy Actually, O' Connor was very liberal...as was Norman Lear, the show's producer.
That fact, and him playing a character who was just the opposite, proves what a great actor he was. 🤗
1:54😂😂😂😂
A nicer funeral😅😅😅😅😅😅
THIS IS THE GREATEST SHOW EVER...I KNOW EVERY WORD SPOKEN ON EVERY SHOW...FUNNY, I KANT REMEMBER HOW OLD I AM...PEACE AND LOVE A.I.T.F. .....😃😁
Henry Jefferson treated Archie poorly.
They got along a few times.
How so?
I feel sorry for Archie Bunker he let his niece dictate him when it came to buying a apartment after Edith died 1980 he could have had a beautiful apartment but Stephanie she was always telling Uncle Archie what to do Anita so it's only worth 5,000 she died😢
Archie never had an apartment. He kept his house on Houser Street after Edith died.
Archie never lived in an apartment. I don’t believe. He Stayed in the house and Stephanie lived with him.
@@joyceadair3003 That's strange. I thought I said that yesterday on this thread. I must have early onset dementia or something.
It was a real estate agent that tried to get Archie to sell his house and buy an apartment. Archie would have never been happy in an apartment.

Nixon the crook Nixon the liar
lol
their theories being tossed around about nixon getting into politics to become rich is hilarious considering the watergate scandal.
Mike has bad posture
Compared to Biden, Nixon looks like a holy angel
Nahh, that's Trump 😅
The only nonsensical part of this bit is that Archie and Edith gave birth to that beautiful lady. It's 😅😅😅😅
Archie, the original Trump supporter.
What’s wrong with that?
