VETERANS MEMORIAL COMMUNITY REGIONAL PARK

William and I found this less-traveled trail that began behind the Veterans Memorial Community Regional Park. Along our way, we ran into a couple that told us there was a waterfall at one point along the trail. It was a delightful hike that offered a fairly strong running stream along its edge. The sound of running water is always a relaxing addition to any hike. It was a good day with the exception of what I am about to explain...
The sad part about this hike is that we lost our drone. I should know better, but I flew the drone up the canyon toward the waterfall which allowed the drone to go out of range. I lost communication with the drone and it unfortunately crashed high into the side of the canyon. I don't think we'll ever get it back as it would be too dangerous to climb the steep edge of the canyon where it undoubtedly got tangled in bush growth. 😩
Nonetheless, we think you'll enjoy what we did shoot with our camera.
