    when u install a sst kit on a new F-150 do u lower the dif at all or just spacers, control arms and blocks? And how the cv angle

    On my raptor if I put a 2.5 in lift readylift kit on it will I notice a decrease in the quality of driving and steering?

    if i get this 3.5 level kit , will i be able to fit 35s on my new f150 with none to minor trimming? i was thinking of of going with a 0,1,or -6 offset. just considering ready lift to save a little money instead of going with a bds 4 inch .

    • @RealDealNeal

      Minor trimming yes

      I have 2.5 inch level with 35 inch tires with-12 offset and had to do a little trimming on my 2015 f150. Installing a 4 inch lift anyway, though.

    You can probably use a bilstein or eibach strut with these too right??

      I think he said there is a bilstein option for the sst kit.

    3.5" on a F-350?

  • @joer5000
    @joer5000 3 роки тому

    Doesn’t a SST 3.5” kit put the cv joints at a bad angle that will wear them out ? But then that’s future repair business?

  • @bradh6185
    @bradh6185 3 роки тому +1

    You say a lot about looks. Is this stuff rugged enough to do some off roading? Or is it for people who only want to LOOK like they go off roading? And is there any advantage to leveling kits other than the saggy rear end look?

    • @eagle1hd
      @eagle1hd 2 роки тому +1

      How is a Cali lean an advantage?
      The level is for looks and clearance. Also just cause a truck is lifted or leveled doesn't mean the owner wants to go off roading or look like they are going off roading.

    Are there any positives to a 4 inch over a 3.5 inch?

    • @RealDealNeal
      @RealDealNeal  2 роки тому

      4” is a true suspension lift and will perform better for the long term

      The Ram classic sst kit is a 4/2.
      I like the sst kit but I'm stuck on that and the superlift true 4/2. I looked at bds but it's more then necessary for my application/use.

    I have a 3.5" Readylift on my 2021 Ram and it rides like garbage. Every bump has all kinds of knocking. Do not use the front pre load spacer or you will regret it for sure.

    Readylift is not a contender my friend... Many of their components are not manufactured in the US. The 7" F150 kit in 2015 had issues with the link to extend the steering shaft. The trucks steering would bind up due to a poorly engineered steering joint supplied to the consumer in the 7" kit. I spoke to the company at great length as did the Ford dealership that installed the kit to no avail. Nothing but lip service from the management team at Readylift. "I do not recommend their kits" and I have bought many various brand kits for a variety of trucks. Stick with BDS, Fabtech & few others.

      Raymond Racca yes we have had issues with the 7” kit as well. As far as level lots and mid level lifts ReadyLIFT is great 👍🏻
