When I first saw your disclaimer I had to laugh. I couldn't fathom who would have a problem with a candle collection, seriously. Then I read some of the comments. Unbelievable. Elle, there is nothing wrong with the amount of candles you own. It makes perfect sense if you like different scents for different seasons/occasions. Or maybe you found them on sale &/or had a coupon so you stocked up on a favorite or bought extras for a great gift. Thanks for helping the economy & ignore the negativity.

I couldn't agree with you more! I enjoy watching Elle's videos; she is articulate, classy, and makes wonderful videos that really appeal to a large audience. I think her success and hard work speaks for itself! The majority of people who complain are usually the ones who aren't brave enough to get behind a camera themselves. I just wish people would display a little kindness and consider their words before they spew hatred on something that is intended to be fun and lighthearted! :)

i actually prefer these kinds of videos when they are well done. love seeing room tours and collection videos etc. and it's not because "i want her life" or whatever the comments below are saying, they are just relaxing. and sometimes you'll see an item or two you want to get, or some organizational tip you can use. tutorials are creative, but i never end up doing anything with them anyway

Beauty closet tour!!! :) People need to stop being so rude, yes Elle is a beauty guru but people do request organizational videos, tours, and things like that and Elle's showing us her interests. If you don't like it why do you watch the video in the first place.

I think every girl should do something for herself that makes her feel relaxed and at peace in her personal space. Candles is clearly your thing, and there is nothing wrong with that :) For me, it's a big bag of bath bombs and bubble bars from Lush sitting under my sink, my entire bathroom smells great and I feel so relaxed every time I get in my bath. Is it a little excessive? Sure! But we all do something a little over the top to feel happy! : )

Love this. As far as everyone saying you should go back to makeup tutorials... I disagree, I think that ever since you did your wardrobe essentials vid, these types of videos appeal to your older, more mature subscribers... and I think it's awesome and really sets you apart from all of the other gurus. Hey Elle! I've noticed your candles have circles in them from where they were burnt. if you always pinch off the top of the wick before you light them you burn ALL of the wax, not just a hole through it. xoxo

The annotation about negative comments is weird... but I like the video itself. Candles are kind of weird to store, and I don't like leaving them around the house.

You could get some shelves to store some of the short/awkward shaped ones. They make some clear acrylic stuff like that for kitchen/food storage.

Hi Elle! Just wanna help you with your goal. I think they have transparent plastics that you can use to stack at the container store. It will look like the one that is used for nail polish bottles except its bigger. Thank you for sharing. More power!

At Target they have pantry risers that will give you a 2nd layer shelf to store your candles. I use them in my pantry for canned goods and spices so they aren't stacked on top of each other and can easily be reached without falling all over the place. Just a suggestion. :)

Im such a candle girl.
At one point I had over 40, then i moved and the previous owners..well idk what they did but the house had this horrible odor and then it was replaced by fresh paint smell that seemed to stick for months. I'm still trying to restock up for burning so many during that time. I love all your candles and im definitely adding some scents you mentioned to my shopping list :)
