Tutorials take forever to film man! I still really value Elle's opinions and reviews. She uploads hauls because lots of viewers like to live vicariously through her shopping and YT supports her based on views. And instead of always-sponsored magazines, it's nice to know when Elle receives products for free. Even though her content isn't the same as before, I still value her voice as a beauty guru.
I never understood the big deal about taking baths, but i took one today after a hard workout with just some simple bath salts, and it felt so good! I can only imagine the amazing-ness with lush products if i ever buy some!

Elle, I had the same problem as Blaire with the Big shampoo, But what you can do is: use just a little bit of it (the lady in lush said the size of a grape), and then use conditioner. Then wen you get out of the shower or bath use leave in conditioner. This makes your hair really voluminous but soft at the same time!
I find that lush hair products do make my hair more tangled than other shampoos, but I've read that it's just because they're natural and don't contain the chemicals which detangle your hair. I've been able to combat it by switching to a heavier conditioner though :)
I've used Big and the reason it's so "volumizing" is that it strips the oil from your hair. If you have oily hair, that's great news. If you don't, then your hair will be very dry and "tangly" ( as Blair discovered ). I love the scent but I have to use it infrequently, when my hair is very greasy.

The reason the face masks were probably out was because since they do have a three week shelf live, they only have so many in the fridge since they don't want to waste anything. They only got shipments once a week and use the ones from last week as samples if people ask. I'm not sure when they get their shipment of fresh in, but at my store, its every Thursday. So if you went in on a Tuesday/Thursday, they were probably all out. If you give them your name/number they can call when they get more.
OMG.. I love the Sultana soap.. I just got some last week and its so great. The scent lasts pretty much all day. I am going to get some more. Great choice Elle!!!

Tips on Using BIG since I'm a LUSH employee: DON'T use a generous scoop, just a little finger full will do! Lather it between your hands first & then massage it into scalp. It dissolves the course sea salt just a touch & helps with tangles! :)

Yes, it is a small container but compared to other cuticle cream containers it's very large. The Lush product is 1.5 oz and I have a very small container of Burts Bees cuticle creme at 0.3 oz and I'm just now at the very last amounts of it after a year. I was just wondering because the smell of a product is pretty crucial..
The colour supplements are awesome. I have a really close skin tone to you and I mix Jackie Oates and the light pink one as well and it's the perfect colour. And the mushroom is the Magic Mushroom bubble bar :)
If you already do have super dry hair, I wouldn't recomment BIG unless you use it with a strong conditioner like American Cream or Retread on your ends! But I would say a less drying alternative that would be fairly good is seanik! Try it and see what you think. It does moisturize the hair a bit with the seaweed =]
I love their bath bombs! Im lucky enough to have a Lush near me haha. You should try their "No drougt" dry shampoo. I think your sister did a haul on it. It works really well and its not an overpowering lemon scent.

Im not a hater, I enjoy her vids, I dont like makeup tutorials, and hauls r my fav. I was just commenting on that for those who wanted tutorials or were upset that she wasn't addressing that. In my OPINION i believe that when you make videos for other people to watch it is important to take suggestions from those who watch your videos and what does popularity have anythng to do wth time to make vids? Just because u r popular doesnt mean u can stop making vids, people will unsub eventually.

you need to try "healthyhoof" for your cuticles. We used it at the salon i use to work at and its amazing!! its and intense protein treatment which was originally designed for use on horses hooves.

with the big shampoo dont scrub your hair ...it has massive salt crytasl in it and it will rwrip your hair out otherwise its one of my favy products from lush adn smells so good hope u enjoy
I just purchased this cuticle lemon cream and I love the smell, I just don't think that it does as genius job as they promise plus if I touch my face with it on my hands I break out in that area. Love lush but can't use most of it plus its expensive. I prefer body shop. Hundred times better quality

wow, so many complaints about elle not doing makeup tutorials anymore. honestly, i don't mind the lack of tutorials. actually, i absolutely love all of her recent kind of videos. there's only so much makeup tutorials one can make. makeup tutorials are becoming boring now because they all look alike anyway (especially since there's so many makeup tutorials on youtube.). same old bright inner corner, darker outer V area, highlight on the brow bone... if you still can't do that, there's a prob..
The BIG is not going to be good for your hair! You always say you have dry ends/hair.. this is sooo drying! I returned it and I have highlights like you. It cleans a lot, but like.. too much!

Sultana is one of my favorite soaps from lush! The scent lasts the longest on my skin, and it is really moisturizing!

You could try mixing in an essential oil in to the cuticle butter that complements lemon, that way you could mask the plastic scent.

you should try the bases, they blend pretty well and they never break you out

i agree that the BIG shampoo maks your hair tangly i just used a good conditioner cos it really did make my hair so voluminous!
I really like Big, but only if i mix some of it with normal liquid shampoo and that helps with the tangles. Really like Sultana soap, one of my favs!

I tried the Mask of Magnaminty today for the first time and it seriously is amazing!!

i just went to lush for the very first time over the weekend and picked up a bar of sultana and it is aaaamaaazing! it was my favorite smelling one!

You should just coat your cuticles with vaseline before soaking your gel nails off in acetone. It helps keep the moisture in.

I hate lemon scent too. Funny is I have a bio cuticle cream and it smells lemony. I just can't do it but its the best cuticle cream I ever owned.
