A SUMMERS DAY BARBEL FISHING 25TH JUNE 2018 - VIDEO 68

A trip down on the mid Trent for an early season barbel session using pellets and boilies. The river was low and gin clear and a blazing hot sun wasn't ideal conditions for barbel fishing. We arrived at Fiskerton at sunrise with a mist above the river with Pete opting to fish in peg 39 and myself in peg 40, pegs which I've never fished before.
Barnsley & District Amalgamated Angling Society own the fishing rights for this stretch of river and day tickets must be purchased before fishing from the village shop in Fiskerton which is usually open just before 6am Monday to sunday. Its a lovely stretch of river so plz refrain from leaving litter. Ps make sure you have a unhooking mat for barbel and carp fishing.
