Thanks for this video. But can you pay using the actual credit card numbers? Or is it only via ACH and checks? Like can I give my landlord the credit card number over the phone? And what bureau do they pull from?
It's my understanding that you can pay via the CC # on the back of your card as long as your landlord accepts credit card payments.
However, you will likely be charged the transaction / processing fees if you do it that way just like using any other credit card.
This was an Experian pull for me. However, it may vary based on location.

1. I cannot confirm myself as I don't have HOA fees. As far as I'm aware at this point in time, the card is only designed for apartment rent payments.
2. I learned grammar in school when I was young, but that didn't help me with speaking. So now I'm just watching shows in Spanish w/ subtitles in Spanish on Lingopie and Netflix. Lingopie is awesome as they also have kid shows and you can filter by comprehension level.

How does average age of credit affect your overall score? Are you concerned with that at all? Also, I'm very impressed with the Spanish! Unexpected! You're reminding me of my goal to learn it; thanks for that!
Length of credit history = 15% of your score, so a moderate impact. I'm personally not concerned with it any longer. The biggest issues tend to be for those with less than 1-2 years. Once you've reached that, denials due to 'insufficient credit history' tend to rarely occur.

Great video. All of my credit details are very close to yours. The only difference is I didn’t have existing relationship with WF. I unfortunately only got approved for $6500 credit limit. I’m wondering if the prior relationship really helped that much.
Congrats on your approval, Scott! Not a way for me to say the degree to which a preexisting relationship helped. I'd say the limit has more to do with income vs. debts vs. other factors. It's an algorithm, so a lot gets considered.

When applying for cards across different banks, a "3 month rule" does not exist. Apply as you wish.
The WOH card will be worth it for some and not for others. Depends on your goals. Start with the goal first...not the card...to figure out which ones fill the gaps for your needs.

Just got the card recently and like it so far. Sadly it doesn't have tap to pay so using it in Europe would be a pain. When I got the card in the mail I got an email saying for the 5 days after receiving the card I got 5x points on all purchases except rent so that was nice.
Interesting. It's compatible w/ mobile wallets but no 'contactless / tap-to-pay' tech? Sounds like that needs to be added.
Great video! Do you have any tricks to dealing with the 5 transactions per month to keep track of on your Bilt card? Seems loading Starbucks cash on the first of the month for 6x back on restaurants with 5 separate $5 transactions would make the most sense to me personally. Would this work? I haven’t applied for the card but am considering it.

Sebby introduced me to simple Amazon account loads to keep cards active but since this card has a restaurant 6x on the first of every month, it would make sense if there was a well known restaurant that had an easy way to load funds in small amounts on a restaurant app. My kids love Krispy Kreme and I could add $1 5x each month. 🧐 McD’s doesn’t have a “bank” to store funds unfortunately. 🤷♀️ I just don’t want to add Bilt to my wallet for normal large purchases. That’s for SUBs!

Thanks! I learned basic grammar, etc. in school when I was younger, but that didn't help me speak. So now I'm just listening to the radio, watching tv series on Lingopie, and other series on Netflix on my own.

Hey Mark you may address this in you in-depth review later but is there an easy way around the 5 monthly transactions? If there are no credit card fees then can you just break your rent into 5 20% payments?
No other way on the 5 monthly transactions other than to use the card 5 times.
I’d say the rent situation depends on your landlord. Would they allow you to pay 1/5 of your rent?

Is it possible to apply for this card as a turist, temporary in US and change the address to another country after opening and receiving the card? Obviously with an ITIN number and credit history, I could done this with amex cards.

I'm wondering if by some chance I can pay my car payment it's a ACI payment. Only other way I believe I can do it is through western union. I will get this card but just got approved for a custom cash card so may 30 days from now. Keep up the amazing work.
While you probably 'can,' I personally wouldn't in order to avoid potential account suspension for misuse. Per Bilt:

i applied for it but i got declined, i assume i did bc i have fraud protection on my credit and the credit card company always has to call me for more info before getting a decision so my applications always go into pending first . i called wells fargo to ask for reconsideration but the people i spoke with made it seem like they don’t have any reconsideration department? it was odd

I think your articulation of letter sounds could use some work as Spanish is a language where every letter should be heard clearly but pronunciation is good!
Thanks Stefano! I'm still figuring out how I want to sound. Part of me is drawn to a blend of Colombian + various Caribbean pronunciations which often omit certain letters, especially words ending in "s".
So instead of saying:
- Acá tenemos todos los términos y condiciones.
It'd be said as:
- Acá tenemo' todo lo' termino' y condicione.
So unlike Mexican Spanish where every letter & sound is pronounced, that's not the case at all in the Caribbean (and so far that's what I prefer) 🌴✌

I pay mortgage with this right now. It lists as rent payment on my app but it’s my mortgage
