TY for this info. This is a big decision. I just bought an extended Ford warranty with my used 2019 GT base (20k miles). I am thinking the best thing to do (if I can afford it) is trade this car in and buy another Mustang with ALL the options from the factory. But that will require some serious coin.
Good info, thanks. By the way, I'm wondering why you picked the number 7 for your Mustang? 7 used to be my favorite number when I was young (now its 21).
Over the long run, all extended warranties are not worth it, regardless of the brand. They make profit by pricing warranties accordingly, by definition. Your logic on brand vs brand and failure timing makes no sense. Anything can fail at any time and it's a question of what costs you are ready to cover.
it make sense depending on what car. For example if you have ever seen the Land Rover Doug D. bought with an extra warranty he deffinaly used it. But a corolla that old you probably won't use it
My extended warranty on my old bolt-on and e30 tuned Mustang Ecoboost was covered under factory warranty just 1.5 years ago. New torque converter, flexplate, vacuum pump, engine, and turbo were all replaced under warranty at 115k miles. Full repair cost was roughly 12k and I had to pay for the flexplate and vacuum pump that were not covered by warranty. So I paid like 1k of the total bill. Definitely was worth it in my case.
I also received a $400 check for the rental car I had during that time. I forgot to ask for reimbursement until 6 months after my car was repaired, but they still paid me for it even that long afterwards lol
@@QuinnLIFTS okay so I’m thinking about doing a cold air intake and bov and a exhaust kit would that void anything in my 2018 ecoboost mustang? You have one also so I’m guessing you’ve been through it and might have a answer for me

putting larger tires on could cause them to deny suspension ...differential problems on some cars
Well that's good to know.. I drive a 2021 mustang ecoboost with an extended warrenty.. it looks like I can't to a hole lot to make it go faster..

7 has always been my number whenever I play sports and stuff as well as much Birthdate so it just made sense
@@NavsGarage That's a good reason. Thanks for answering 🙂

Great subject!
Thank you. Hope you enjoyed the video
@@NavsGarage I sure did, those were some great tips once again.
Will cutting out my resonator and putting in a h pipe will that mess with anything
No you should be fine. You just won’t have warranty on the exhaust part of modified
Wrong on catch cans; they definitely can fix an engine warranty. I've asked specifically around BMW dealerships.
catch cans for ford they never say anything. Ive never heard of anyone say anything about them. But its a grey area even if they say they will void it
thinking about getting a catback but i’m scared of voiding warranty shluld i sitll do it?
Do it that don’t void warranty
Bolt- ons won’t void warranty. Usually a tune, adding performance parts to the engine block etc etc that will void it.
Good info video, will a resonator delete VOID factory warranty? just liked & sub'd
thank you, and no res delete will not void warranty. I dont have one on my car
Do a supercharger now
I can’t afford it 😵💫 I’m slowly saving my way up. It’s gonna cost like 7k
Get headers you won’t regret it
Yah definitely thinking about it

I've had an extended warranty save my butt more than once, the repairs cost twice what I paid for the warranty.
