Had expected y'all to be busier than that when putting life jackets on and getting away from shore line. Way easier than the first sloop I ever sailed. I have magined my boat with a leeboard on each side. You answered my questions on mast placements for a small boat. They say the best boats are the ones you build yourself. I chuckled at how long it took you to get sails up. You went easy and it still went up fast. Congrats on your comfortable setup.❤

Thank you! We did take awhile to get going. I guess when we do these type of trips our pace slows down a little bit. Plus when we got home we had to go back to work so we had nothing exciting to look forward to 😁

I really like your boat, and the area you are in. I have Michalak’s original jewel box. I have never sailed it, but it looks like our boats were designed for places like that.
It would be cool to sail with folks like y’all.
    Did you build it yourself?

I didn’t build the boat it was built by Chuck Lienweber. Come join us at next year’s Texas 200. There’s usually a dozen Michalak boats every year. Its my favorite week of the year.
