    About: Satisfactory
    Satisfactory is a first-person open-world factory building game with a dash of exploration and combat.       Right, I got some
      1. How to build smooth railroad on a ground level dealing with terrain?
      My solution here is to build a skyhight bridge straight from A to B but it looks depressing as hell.
      2. How to build logistics using train overall.
      Should one transfer raw materials and combine them on a dedicated factory for complex parts or better make more basic components directly on the nodes and transfer them to other places to make advanced parts? What approach is more efficient?
      3. Scaling tier 7-8 parts (and any other manufacturer/blender parts) production
      I can make a factory to craft 3.5 computers/min, but what if I need it to make 6 and pass that to supercomputers? I cant comprehend where to put extra buildings and most annoying is - how to bind in/outputs.
      Really appreciate your videos, learned a lot of stuff that helped me to avoid frustration over inefficiency and ugliness of my game.
      Im like 400h in game now and still want to start over and over again when I see something new I can improve. Thanks to you 🤗

    Just when i thought I was a pro at satisfactory I found your channel and realized there's such a thing as the world grid!!!!!!!! Thank God I just started my build. Your videos are very informative; I will be a die-hard watcher from here on out!

    was there already a way to get water extractors to be placed on the world grid or way around it?

      I place foundations under the water where I want the water extractors. Almost like a channel.

    There is a better way to align your miners to world grid and that is manually setting the belt from the minor onto a piller to manipulate the placement and then you can just eye it straight and replace the pillars with ur foundation. Another youtube who does the spiral hypertubes and pipes showed this off

    Some things are way too tedious for me to bother with. Like the foundation under miners or curved foundations. That's some stuff that drove me nuts in Planet Zoo already. :-)
    But the rest was interesting. I only started playing 2 days ago and it gave me a couple ideas. Thx.

      Yeah I already waste hours on playing "normally" I could imagine doing blueprints for 45° and 90° curves but doing custom curvatures on every other miner would take me hours.
      It's way too hard to build naturally looking roads in satisfactory so I just fill in some ramps and foundations on natural paths whenever necessary.
      I think there are already mods to do curves but I'd rather have some vanilla feature.

    i often build spaghetti, and even worse: 3D spaghetti, eg a lift at both sides of my factory, and then a belt of (almost) max length from one to the other (or from a lift to a roof, wall, etc), and when looking at it from some distance i see that it perfectly aligns with the worldgrid, but the heights almost never match (similar to 5:33 _"best to build them at a similar height")._ one method to align them would be to build some temporary "skywalk" or beams only for alignment (height numbers like at rollercoaster tycoon would be nice), but are there other methods to achieve this, or do i need to train my feeling better ?

    I'm surprised you didn't recommend building foundation over the resource then placing the miner on the foundation, does that not snap to the grid? I saw another UA-camr doing it the other day and haven't had the chance to try it myself

      Nope, it doesnt - the foundations will be on the world grid but the outputs won't be central 😉

    Great video, but why not place first 2m foundations on the mining locations using world grid alignment and afterwars place the miner, then everything should be aligned to the world grid already?

      Nope - because the nodes aren't on the world grid so the conveyors out of miners won't always align

    How do I align the entire factory without having to delete it?

      After playing for 200h I didn't find any way of doing that Maybe you can use interactive map for satisfactory but I'm not sure

    Great video, but you are obsessed with always having to use both 2 and 4 meter foundations ... if you always start with a 1 meter foundation, there is never a problem ... but, still a great video, I just get tired of hearing that in every building episode.

      There's definitely issues when you're trying to merge 1m's from very different places that are at different heights. I just ran into it last night. They can be off by 1/2 m vertically, which doesn't happen if you use 2 or 4s. That said, I still use 1s a lot. :)

      @@vetax8545 I'm not sure how your reply is at all relevant to my comment? Maybe you read it wrong or there was a translation error, either way ... 1m do not randomly lock at different places to the world grid. Everywhere you control click a 1m foundation will perfectly line up with anywhere else you control click another 1m foundation. This is true in every possible location in the world to lock foundations to using the world grid (control). As previously stated, a 1m locked to the world grid is exactly 1m off 2m and 4 m foundations also locked to the world grid.
      My comment specifically talked about a fix for this, by always using 1m foundations to start a build with, which will ALWAYS properly align to other 1m foundations also locked to the world grid.

      After re reading your comment, it would appear you were talking about 1m matching 1m. I am curious how you are placing them? Because in every case I have tested, every single 1m control clicked to the world grid connected perfectly with every other 1m control clicked to the world grid. What is it that you are doing when you place the foundations?
      Remember, you can not connect 1m that you snapped to a 2 or 4m, and have them line up. It has to connect via an originally placed 1m structure snapped to the world grid.
