I love that you used the hood as protection against a winch line braking but you should probably describe that to viewers so that they know the importance
Just so people understand. It doesn't keep the line from breaking. It's one more layer a flying chunk of broken something has to get through before it potentially hits Jamie. Since it's a soft rope, getting through that and the windshield both (especially without being deflected away from straight back) is highly improbable.
Hell I might even instruct the hired help to lean over to the right out of the windshield area in case anything comes through the hood that hood will help but it may not stop a hook or something big like that coming through it and if you're just there keeping the motor just off idle and going straight for 10 ft leaning over the seat out of the line of fire is not a bad idea

woohoo! this woman in Belgium is happy! a new recovery video, thanks Matt and crew.
I'm American but I married a Belgian 🙂Been to visit once, it's a beautiful country!
That’s sand hallow!!! We go there all the time we will be down there this weekend!! If you ever see a green and black x2 a couple stand ups and a crash reaper that’s us haha. I have never seen a truck this stuck there. I see your rig that is on tracks in the parking lot all the time. Maybe some say I will be lucky enough to see you there with it.
It amazes me that more people don't use those inflatable off-road jacks
Could it tossed one of those deflated under that truck.
It would have floated that truck right out of that hole.
Could have had any vehicle with a rope pull It Forward once it was floating
Surprising how tall that truck was on solid ground. Really glad you put out this video. great to watch the technique you use for recoveries, and then ending with a video segment showing off Lizzy's big blue eyes and shining smile., as well as her driving skills.
Looking forward to the next one.
You guys keep enlisting the help of strangers you're going to need shirts that read "So, I got a call to help Matt's Off-Road Recovery!!"
Great job MORR!! As always!
I was thinking that they should have a separate "deputy"-type t-shirt for those that've helped out along the way.
FYI if you pull out on the 4x4 switch in that FX4 Powerstroke it will lock the rear axle. Good info to know for next time.
Im so proud of how far Matt has gotten on YT he deserves everything good guy
@MrAbletospeak lol, let me guess, magat?
I was really surprised they used such skinny tires on the tractor, no wonder it sank in the mud.
Never seen a tractor like that before!
After rescuing two Diesels back-to-back I was waiting to hear: "This is why the Morrvair, Banana and Heavy Wrecker are not diesels" - Matt. On a side note my Wife and I are in Presscott, AZ and I saw a Mavrick's and I said "we have to stop, Matt and the crew go to Mavrick's all the time", and my wife knew exactly who I was talking about! Lol!
Great recovery from the team. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work. Tow On. Keep Making. God Bless .
Nice work, remember to pull the 4wd knob on Ford's to lock the rear axle.
Break time on a Friday and a Matt’s Off-road video = Awesomeness
Boy. That water level sure is keeping you guys busy playing in the mud this season.
getting stuck with jet skis is becoming a new trend apparently haha
Love seeing all the angles that Trevor makes possible with all the running! It doesn't go unnoticed!
I feel like you just did a video exactly like this. Big diesel with Jet skis stuck deep in the sand and then a tractor also stuck.
I bet when the Big Yeller wrecker gets done you won't need an anchor. Great to see Ed out on recoverys
When your Friday starts with a MORR video 💛💛💛
Heavy Wrecker job right there Matt!!! Not just weight, but the massive tires would make that one easy!!!😃
