Welcome to the "World Of Matts Crew We Ran Out Of Gas, Almost." Great video - that 150 was in a muddy mess. Nice job of getting them out. Bummer on that dirt biker getting in trouble for the weekend ride.
Trevor is surely missed because the Morrvair gas gauge has been broken for awhile and still isn't working. This is a must because you run out of gas too much as it is. Jefe and Rhett were fortunate to make it to the gas station this time! Matt and Lizzy and crew had a terrible recovery in the mud but with the banana's help they got it out!
You might not believe this since you took forever to buy a winch... you need a set of chains from a logging truck that is "V-Bar" on all 4 tires and you can go in the mud like it is pavement. We used to let the air out of the tires, put the chains on so little slack and air up tire and chains are on tight. I have a set on the back of a GMC heavy half and could go places where 4by 4's had problems with out chains.
You guys should build a fueling station on the lot, so you can fill up before you leave. Or just be disciplined and fill up at the Maverick before leaving. Or fix the fuel gauge. 😂😂 Always a treat to watch!
I love watching these videos and all the different vehicles getting into bad positions. When I'm watching tv and see all the truck advertisements and how awesome they are for rough road travels....gives me a good laugh and what not to buy.
Love your channel but when they tied the bike down by the handle bars I was dreading the typical outcome. When you hit bumps the suspension leaves the tie downs loose and thw wheel slips. I wish i could remember how many times i have seen bikes fall on trailers when someone said it's not going anywhere. You were lucky. Next time tie it down below the suspension too.
This "constantly running out of gas" thing would drive me nuts. It's fine to run low when driving around town with a gas station every half a mile, but for pulling people out in the desert... damn, how hard is it to fill up at the end of each day, or take a 5 gal jerrycan in the car??
5 gallon jerrycan mounted on the back is the way to go. Although I don't think the style of lift gate on the morrvair would accommodate it. The can would have to swing upwards with the gate, which would be too much weight.

Hey, have you seen the water tanks on concrete trucks, they have this see through tube that shows water level, I'm pretty sure you can manage to put one of those somewhere in the Morrvair! Just a thought.
Question for Matt and crew what do you do with tire pressures in mud like that? Std, lower, or higher? I know lower in sand and rocks, etc. sometimes regular is better in snow so the weight is on a smaller contact patch. Not sure what is best for that type of mud?
Yup it's Matt's job to run out of gas , you didn't need to worry. Hehehe. Just loving on you guys. Keep us updated on Skeeter and Trevor. Love the towtruckasaurus.

FYI, It's just as easy to put fuel in at half a tank or above as it is when you are about to run out. In reality you guys should fill up every time you're heading back to the yard, that way its always full and ready for the next job. Personally I rarely let my vehicles get below half with the exception of when I'm traveling and know how far it is to the next fuel station and then I'm going to get fuel before it gets down to a quarter of a tank.

Not sure why the audio levels are all over the place, but it takes away from the video. I constantly have to adjust my volume to hear talking, but have to turn it down for music and loud engine parts. This is easy to correct is production by adjusting audio levels to be similar to each other. Otherwise, great video! Thanks for sharing, I really enjoy the content!
Yeah it was worse on this video for some reason. A lot of UA-cam channels do this too, so they must have an audio setup that's vastly different from what their audience uses to play the videos. It's really unfortunate.
Oh my goodness mud mud mud I'm betting your dogs would love to check out the mud lots of mud smells ,HA !!! Thank you for posting all the great videos on your channel.
Hot tip: Fix that gas gauge! 💛
Can't believe wev'e lost so many of the Old Faces, don't go Lizzie!! We all love you!!
I honestly figured Trevor was lifer at MORR! He will be missed!
What a great day to start off to watch Mats off-road recovery 🤙🏼
The dogs are great helpers. With their energy, you could harness them up and do some light rescues with dog power.
I'm just watching to see who has been fired.
Ahhhh NICE! Mud! That is proper wheelin' boys! That easy sandstuff is for kids.
love the content matt. i think everyone enjoys it. keep it up
6:53 welcome to every dirt road in sc during the winter spring first half of summer 😂. We got that horrible red clay to I see y’all in the sand and I’m like dang I wish it was like that here. Y’all got sand mud mountains flat land little of everything
Hey, have you seen the water tanks on concrete trucks, they have this see through tube that shows water level, I'm pretty sure you can manage to put one of those somewhere in the Morrvair! Just a thought.
I saw that Heavy created a bolt on snow track system. You should get him to make you some so the snowcat doesn't leave you hanging!
Who doesn’t love mud!?! Lol
Been stuck good myself!
Mud fun yes,,,, don't care for all the expensive collateral carnage tho,
Did y'all see how smart peanut was? She was rolling in the snow to get the mud off. That's just one more reason I have to like dog's more then people..
There is one thing you can never have to much of out in the west and that’s fuel ⛽️. Thanks for the video
Ah the driving tunes, I've missed them. Pretty much every video had these when I started watching this channel.
WE MISS TREVOR ALREADY ❤
Tom Tom, I’m glad you made the move and are full time crew now.
I used to really identify with Trevor as I also fall down all the time for no reason lol He will be missed
Wow nice job. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work. Keep Making. God bless.
I bet Matt has contracts with everyone on the show. Trevor and Skeeter probably have clauses in their contracts where they can’t comment.
I have often, in my youth, used the old 'race car swerve' to slosh the gas around to get the last few drops.
I been waiting for this
