Kvasir was a being made by the Aesir and Vanir spitting into a goblet after their peace treaty. He was a generous explorer who helped those in need, which was taken advantage of. He was killed by dwarves, who then turned his blood into a magical mead. Just some fun Norse mythology context for ya.
So we're just collecting Blood Mead to maximize our rage only to find out it's Kvasir
@@theorganizer27 I've never played the games, but I don't know if what you're referring is Kvasir's. Kvasir's mead is supposed to grant one poetic eloquence temporarily. It's also extremely sought after and hard to get, as the only ones in possession of what's left of it are Odin a powerful Jotun, whom Odin stole his portion from. Though, given the games are a sort of editted version based off Norse mythology, it could be from their Kvasir, so I don't know.
@@sipsong it could be two separate versions of the mythology because the legend I know about kvasir is the one the other guy said where the dwarves fjalar and Galar killed him and drained his blood to make a mead.
@@leoniidusgaming1258 That's the myth I was referring to in my original comment. It was the effect of the mead that I was talking about. They mention the blood mead boosts rage in the games, whereas Kvasir's mead, the name of the mead made of his blood, is an enhancement to poetry.

The creators of God of War stated that on the world of GoW all the mythological pantheons exist in one world, they're just REAAAALLY spread apart, as in *many* miles apart, to where they would normally never interact with each other, but they'd know of each other's existence.
So even Jesus and the Biblical God is canon to God of War.

As someone who played that with my brothers almost every week back in the day, I can confirm.
As someone who Platinumed both the PS3 and PS Vita versions, I can say for sure that it was a fun game. If they ever decide to give us a sequel I would play that too.

Bruh deadass we have a literally perfect plot device to transfer into another mythology. Realm tears. Closing realm tears is a very normal thing in GOW but imagine kratos goes to close one and it opens up swallowing him and transporting him to another mythology, like the Greek, or maybe even Indian ones
How about Atreus, in his adventure to find the missing giant, found out that some giants went through realm tears and stranded in other mythology? So Kratos had to wage new wars to save Atreus and the giants from other mythology ie Celtic?

I would pay all the money i have for a god of war bloodborne crossover just to see how kratos interacts with the hunters and the world
New or old Kratos? GOW 1-3 Kratos basically kills everything except due to things being Lovecraftian, it’s POSSIBLE he couldn’t kill Amygdala or the Moon Spirit thing. Although based on him canonically looting chests and using Runes or whatever as power-ups, he would theoretically gain enough Insight to be able to kill anything some nameless Hunter can. (Plus, don’t you get Insight just from killing Bosses)
Unless we take him BEFORE he kills any Gods. Then it’s definitely a bit more contested… but in theory he should be able to do anything the Hunter can.
In God Of 4 or God Of Thor, Kratos has mellowed out a lot and at least wouldn’t try to kill Eileen or some of the other friendly Hunters. But he’s even stronger, and given the threat posed by all of the Bosses… they’re all dead. At least the main game ones. I never played the DLC so I won’t speak to them. Also, given that Gerhman basically betrays everyone, he’s dead, too. And Kratos definitely CAN kill Gods and stuff… so he’d kill Amygdala and probably the Moon Spirit. (Moon Beast? Ah, whatever. You know what I mean.)
@@Paradox-es3bl well i originally meant in the way he views the world and the way characters view him. But from a lore perspective kratos likely can kill everything except the nameless hunter as canonically they are stronger than the great ones at the end and most great ones, i can see him killing the amygdalas however not only has he no ressisrance to frenzy which causes severe hemorraging but the great ones are above gods as instead of being the sage or arbiter of said concept they embody it and exist in higher dimensions unlike GOW mythology whereas kratos, zeus, even ragnorok live in parallel dimensions. While it would still be very cool kratos would need a drastic understanding in the world of bloodborne to counteract the high level great ones
@@hell86790 the BOO can kill anything even if its immortal has life steal and lighting, while the blades of chaos are always on fire something that the early game bosses are super weak to and hades hooks basically give him elden ring summons.
Also he technically can't die from blood loss because of his curse.
He's weirdly kitted out for most things kinda like yoshimitsu having the perfect kit to solo mortal kombat.

Nice video. Gotta say though, PlayStation All-Stars was actually a pretty solid game. It was definitely a game to leverage the genre Smash created (or at least popularized), but it never felt like a rip off to me. It did enough to separate itself from it's inspiration to make it stand on it's own.
Bro PSAlstars was my favourite game on the vita, I'd play it for days and never get bored, cole and the Killzone dude were easily the best characters

@@thegiftedfire3470 ive seen the video, the fact that tyr had to use the unity stone and how mimir was shocked by it proves otherwise, as well as the references to the different universes in kvasir’s poems. Combine that with dev statements and it proves the multiverse theory, the only thing that contradicts this is the fallen god comic, which had alot of lazy writing and was widely considered a disappointment amongst the god of war community, either way i believe the multiverse theory makes more sense and is cooler, why wouldnt gods like thor or tyr just fly to other pantheons if every mythology was within one earth? Many confusions.
