The final park from Season 2! Thank you all for joining us for this series, we hope that you enjoyed it! Be sure to check out the Coastin’ Thru Europe playlist to go back and re-watch your favorites or catch up on any episodes you missed! We appreciate your support😁
@@beerfish109 Same! I heard the theme and thought that my excessive playtime had triggered a response where my brain just heard it any time I saw coasters.
Absolutely love your content and CTE 2 was top class. CS now sets the standard for me with the coaster channels - quality filming, informed and knowledgeable reviews without losing the child like responses to having fun - keep up the good work.
Man this was a plain great season. I really love how a lot of smaller to midsized parks got some time in the spotlight too from Paultons to Bocasse, Le Pal, and Vulcania to just name a few. We didnt get much of that in the previous season. A few sure with ones like Schwaben Park and some of the Danish parks, but I'm so glad they get more appreciation. They may not have huge thrill rides or budgets, but they can really make for a great day and are the bread and butter of the European theme park industry. Again just thank you for trying and showcasing some of them.
Thanks for taking us to Europe again. It's always cool to see how they do amusement parks compared to the U.S. and see rides that I'll probably never get the chance to experience. Can't wait for the next adventure you guys take us along for the ride!🤘
I loved this series. As I am chronically ill for two years now, it has been great to at least see theme park fun and stuff here even if I can't do it myself right now. Thanks :)
Thanks to Taylor and Sarah for the season of CTE. Seriously, this series is a highlight for me and lifts my spirits after a long/hard day of work or just when I need to rest. I can't wait for some US content and then maybe new locations on Coastin' Through 😉🤔
Thank you so much for highlighting so many French parks ! Your French pronounciation is also improving every CTE Season ! Next time you'll visit WalibiRA, be sure to check out their boat ride called tam tam adventure (if it's still around). Most of its effects are cheap and broken, but that's not the reason it's worth riding. In fact, it actually goes through a swamp or jungle river like environnement, so you can see tons of frogs, colorful dragonflies and bugs, or even freaking live snakes a few feet from your boat ! That's way better than most animal parks actually do !
Why was there Astérix and Obélix you Wonder? In fact, Walibi parks and Astérix belong to the same group. It's a French group called La Company des Alpes. They also own the musée Grévin, the Futuroscope, Bellawearde and other smaller parks. They also operates some of the biggest ski places in France. Definitly one of the biggest Company of it's kind in Europe.
@@CoasterStudios Sorry to tell you that, but because of them, you'll have to make an other costin thru Europe (yeah i know bummer), as they are very dynamic. They are investing a lot of money right now. 2024 : - mahuka in WRA 2025 :- a 25 millions euro rocking boat Mack in Futuroscope, which you still haven't visited + a New waterpark - 2 RMC raptor at WH - a New coaster coaster in Park Asterix ( Probably a Spinning gerstlauer, maybe a new model with train) - a completly retheme part of WB with a new Big intamin family coaster. If you ad Voltron this march, the reopening of Nemesis, and the hyper Mack at thrope park. Well see you in 2025 😉 Small tips if this will still be available at the time, if you take a Season pass in any of the Compagnie des Alpes Park, you get 50% off in any of their other park. For exemple, WH Season pass is less than a 100€, i think you can save up some money if you do all the other park on the same trip. Keep up the good work 👍
Also, they call it the six flags of Europe because two of the parks used to be a six flags park for about 5 minutes. Changed the parks drastically though.
Loved the series (again) and am really looking forward to your next adventure! Might I suggest... Coastin' Through Asia! You could hit Japan, China, Vietnam, and Thailand. I hope you guys do that so I can continue to live vicariously through you both. Just a suggestion, but I'm there for wherever you guys go next.
9:00 that trim is the only downside of the ride, such a big buzzkill that basically turns this double down element into a single airtime hill. Hopefully, they seem to have fixed it with Bobcats layout.
Loved the Mad Mad Mad Mad World reference at the beginning. A must see for everyone who has eyes and can see. Leagues better, and funnier, than Rat Race.
Walygator also operates its space shot like Le Totem (they raise you up a little bit and check the restraints in that position). Both space shots were installed together (Walygator used to be a Walibi park), maybe it’s something related to this specific generation of towers?
Is it just me or is Walibi Rhone Apls playing the Planet coaster soundtrack in the backround. Like listen to it. When Tailor does the outro infront of the exit, it really sounds like the planet coaster theme
Really enjoyed the vlogs from this European trip, lots of parks I got on the radar in the future thanks. I think the parks of companies des Alpes where the Walibi parks are a part of have more individual right to their own decisions of what to build and from with manufacture. If you see Walibi Holland used RMC to redo their woody and park Asterix used gravity group and this one also used the gravity group to build one. Also there is a clear difference between the different Walibi parks and even more between the other parks like Asterix, futuroscope, Parc des acclimatation, Bellewaerde… Loved how they used Asterix and Obelix in their theming on Timber, great insiders joke in the group. Hope next year to see a legendary trip like this one from you two. Happy holidays to you and all off your other viewers.
Having travelled extensively through Asia for the last 20 years from Australia surely it’s time to for Coastin’ through China. It would be a game changer as people are afraid of travelling to China since COVID and there are so many amazing coasters. It’s unbelievable that China has the most number of coasters in the world - almost double the number of coasters in the US.
Great video! Concerning Le Totem, we operate it this way because when the cart is down, it makes contact with a part which lets the current pass through the harness opening system, it's impossible to lock the harnesses if the cart isn't up. I have to admit, it's quite funny to see the guests panic every time the cart lifts 😂
It”ll be posted by October lol 😂 Watching today December 26! Timber looked really fun. I know you guys hate it but the boomerang is fun and nostalgic for me 1990’s vibes 😎 Not sure who does the filming, editing or if you both share but the ride footage and filming walking through France around the lake were really well done and beautiful. It kind of looks like Amsterdam 😁 Would love to see a compilation video of your favorite moments from the series with your friends that appear with you and how you all came to know each other. Hope you guys got some rest 😁 Merry Christmas from James in Orlando
This park looks great! I do feel like the word modest fits them well but of course thats not a bad thing. They know what they can do and do it well but don't try to bite off more than they can chew. It just looks like a really good midsized park with a good selection of roller coasters and beauty that fit the park's size and budget.
12:11 I understand where the seats are coming from. I, too, am so straight that I have an extremely poor posture. Probably also wouldn't be bad to see a chiropractor.
Would love to do Mystic heard that Walibi Rhone Alps is a bit tricky to get to though. I only have 4 Gerstlaurer Infinty Coasters left that being Mystic, Monster, Hangtime and Gold Rush.
It’s just my feeling and I can’t give any arguments for it, but I feel like the Walibi parks are all run pretty independently. More so than the typical American amusement park chain which seems to have more control “from the top”. Walibi Holland, Belgium and Rhône Alpes all feel like individual and different parks and they make really different decisions because of it.
Like to point out there is no 'Walibi Group', all three parks are part of 'Compagnie des Alpes', the same group that owns Parc Astérix (which is their main park).
How long before the Euorpe Parks re ranked video or re ranked coaster video would love to know where you place the new rollercoasters that you rode especially the ones in the UK.
There was a European coaster ranking earlier this year, so there won't be a new one until maybe end of this year or next year at the earliest. The last European park ranking was in 2019 however so it is definitely time for an update with that one!
Ok, so we have two seasons of Coastin' Thru Europe, and one mini season of Coastin' Down Under. Hopefully in 2024 we can get a season of Coastin' Around Asia.
Monaco? So I guess you can add that to your list of countries you've been to, since you shouldn't forget it is a full on country just like the US, Canada, France or Germany and it is a member of the UN, it is just very... very small.
