At 2:19 the driver should have used 4L and the rear diff lock. I’ve made similar climbs in that mode, no drama.
Why does the Ford Ranger needs so much throttle input for the tiniest obstacle? I have noticed it on other videos too, but here it is very clearly. Almost all other SUV/Pick-up do it very smootly like they are not even trying. But here it is different. Reminds me a lot of my old 1st gen mercedes ML270
Yes, it seems because of Low Down Torque 5 cylinder engine.

Wow. I haven't seen the newer model Rangers. I have a 2004 Ranger, and it's a bit small for me...but this 2016 has a way different design. I'm not sure if I like it or not, almost looks too SUVish.
I really enjoyed driving it and its amazing because its a true animal of working. but you are right, looks a bit like the Explorer.
Which engine do you have in yours?

Do you mean the manual adjustment with open hood or the controller steared adjustment?
Hi, Yes the manual adjustment under the hood, my model doesn't have the control buttons shown in the manual.
I will ask for you, cause I didn't see that in such a short time to test..

The Rangers are now listed in the Dog and lemon guide as Unreliable and get 2 out of 5 stars. They have major problems with all the sensors on the vehicle and when you do an oil change the oil pump empties and wont reprime when the new oil is added. This means the oil pump fails and the engine then fails. Ford are having to replace engines at an alarming rate. I know a guy who has had 3 engine replacements from Ford. They also have major issues with their four wheel drive systems and drive train. Terrible vehicles. Basically Junk.

But with that knowledge it's rather a bad idea, I think.

you're wrong. my ford ranger is now 2yrs old and i had no problem with it's change oil. it is a reliable truck i used it daily for my business carrying heavy items my day requires. maybe ur a chevy guy who thinls chevy is better when it isn't
