Bali Asli restaurant on the beautiful island of Bali in Indonesia offers a cooking class. Whether or not you take the cooking class, Bali Asli is a magnificent restaurant with jaw dropping views of rice fields and the volcano Mount Agung in the distance.
The cooking class starts at a fascinating local market where the chef/instructor shops for the fresh ingredients that will be used during the class. Then we’re back to the restaurant for the class. We were taught how to make the beautiful Hindu flower offerings that are seen everywhere in Bali. Then the cooking class begins. The chef taught us how to prepare authentic and delicious Balinese dishes, which were cooked and served to the class for our lunch. A fascinating experience! The food we prepared during the class was authentic and delicious.
