We did it when we were in April last year and it’s definitely never ending! But the video is fantastic and where else do you get something like that! 🤣

Guys you have made me jealous by being in Scotland 😭 It's one of the most beautiful countries I've been. The thing with the flashing oil light is that you can reset it without an expensive thingymejig. I had the same thing on my van a few months back and I found several videos on here to reset it with your brake and gas pedal, I've lost the exact way to do it so you should look it up yourself but it does work.
Bet your heart sank when that oil light happened! If it helps my old VW T5 1.9TDI stuck an engine management warning light on when one of the four glow plugs was a little tired. You'd think it would flash the glow plug light or something, alas no. It still started absolutely fine. Stupid vans. Scenery looks stunning, looking forward to the next one.
Hi guys, I have the same van (Citroen), brand new and also had a warning light to change oil after just 4000 miles. All the forums told me to ignore and reset, but the dealership said it’s imperative to change the oil regardless of the mileage if ever you get a warning light come on; otherwise you’re looking at oil contamination which can lead to loss of pressure and failed engine…..exactly what happened to my previous Citroen relay. It doesn’t seem fit for purpose but unfortunately this is the price we have to pay for all the euro engine stipulations. And of course they are French!!! Enjoying your vids, take care 😊
I mean it depends right. We change our oil every 5-6k as it’s just cheap insurance to make your engine last as long as possible. Emissions crap on any vehicle is the death of them. Especially when something like an adblue tank goes wrong with an interfered pump.
Great content but I can never understand why people always have to be surprised there is sunshine or no rain in Scotland! I’ve never felt I had to emphasise this when I’ve travelled south ?!
In hindsight we perhaps do talk about the weather too much! It stems from previous trips we’ve had in Scotland / The Lakes / Wales where they have been complete wash-outs. We just feel super grateful when we do get to experience these beautiful places in the sunshine 😅🌞
After owning my transporter for 6 years I am definitely not going to miss cooking bacon on my knees! Yes they fit in spaces better but my knees couldn’t do much more. To be fair I haven’t taken the boxer down any roads of death yet either
I’m bet! I really fancy building a small van and seeing what gadgets we could get built into it! The boxers aren’t too bad! Good visibility and providing you can reverse not bad at all to drive!
@ I fancied doing a pop top caddy for the overnighters. Caddy maxi’s are the same length as the transporter just a little narrower so they can have a full layout inside the same as mine.
Top attempt at the Scottish pronunciation 😅 and love that you gold told off 😂 Have the best time, were that way in May and our first trip in 2025 is down kn Cheddar.
@ heheh snap! Thank you, I’m just excited to get out as we have so many gadgets and toys to try! But not fun on the drive. Have a great adventure and catch you at an event or something soon 🚐 ❤️
Overnight Parking ‘Wild Camping’ under the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003 is only allowed when camping by foot, bike or other non-motorised transport. It DOES NOT apply to motorised vehicles such as campervans or motorhomes.
@ I agree and like much of the UK it’s old and antiquated. It’s about time we took a leaf out of Europes book! 💪 We did no harm where we were, left no litter, no water was dropped, no landscape was damaged and we were parked in a lay-by…. Do you say this to truck drivers who sleep in their cabs at the sides of roads?
@@Jess_and_Alex_Adventure No because truck drivers aren't occupying what is legally classed as a caravan under The Caravans Act. It's the use of the term "wild camping" which is misleading & you're not parking you are occupying the land in a caravan which is outwith Scottish Access rights.
The van as per DVLA is a van with windows not a motor caravan, so I disagree there. However I can tell you’re an argumentative little soul, so I bid you good day! 😘
The Prince Albert pyramid is worth the walk, but it's a never ending up hill!

You can rest the oil flashing service light by doing a sequence, with key & brake pedal. UA-cam it. Fellow ducato owner! Did this on mine :)
We found this after the video! I figured there might be a way! So silly though it’s red! 🤣🤣

Love this guys, we honestly can’t believe it’s been over a week… it’s gone so quick! We can’t wait for the next one 🏴

It's a Scottish conspiracy that it always rains in Scotland, to keep the English away. 😂😂😂
I don’t blame you for that! 🤣🤣🤣
Great video guys
Thanks mate, really appreciate it!

I'm getting a campervan this year ❤
That’s amazing! We’d love to be in Scotland full time! It definitely is held very close to our hearts! ♥️

With all due respect, I didn’t ask.
You’ve got a busy year ahead of you to comment this on every vanlife video done in the Scotland. 👋
@@Jess_and_Alex_Adventure No but you posted on a public platform. Not my words by the way, this is the law in Scotland & quoted from NC500 Ltd.
