the impact is not linear and doesn't knock the screw in . The spinning bladed rotor in an impact wrench is connected to a hammer mechanism that operates like a clutch. This mechanism spins around the tool's output shaft, which is called the anvil. one a screw offers resistance to the turning force the rotary hammer strikes the anvil . the impact is delivered in a rotary direction.
I love Ozito/Eihell products. As for " because these have a little bit more torque than a normal drill driver". They got a LOT more torque . My cordless drill driver only has 39nm compared to 150nm on my cordless impact driver. They got brushless ones out now. But my brushed model is powerful enuff for me I have a cordless drill driver, impact drill, circular saw, grinder, work light, wet n drill portable vac along with several chargers an double one, spare batts an a 6Ah one. Yeh I love the brand...
I had 2 ozito drills both give up-not very often used-brushed ones, but 5 years warranty replaced for stanley fatmax. Now still have einhell jigsaw 18v is really good works every time i need it .1einhell circular saw 150mm stop working quickly used just for plywood few times, got another one and works fine for 2 years now fingers crossed. Just bought milwaukee impact driver for 149£ from toolstation i will see how this one work over time (so far is really good and small )einhell impact is much bigger. Still have black and decker 9.6v drill -imagine i have it for 15 years and battery gone long time ago but drill never died.
Hey Tom. Have you tried the brushless version of the drill and impact driver? They seem more powerful and last a lot longer. I also have a couple of Black&Decker drills that have lasted well over 10years and still going strong.
@@brookvalleylife724 did not tried brushless ozito yet. Have stanley brushed one no issue so far and milwaukee brushless impact driver for price of ozito or einhell -dont even think of going back ha ha.
@@brookvalleylife724 from 55£ (think about 80 dollars)but i get my impact with 2x 4.0 amph battery and charger, this set cost 20 £ or so more than einhell with 1 battery so didn't even think twice dewalt was about 50£ more. So easy decision
Did you get a weird burning smell when you first operated this? It's been a week and still smells that way. Doesn't really affect the operation, though.

Thanks for the info Robbo. I was just trying to make this as basic as possible for people new to DIY and power tools. Again great info. Cheers Mate.
hi, i like your Review, i really love the Ozito tools, my first drill was a Ozito, but in My country 🇨🇱 they are called Einhell. thanks
Cheers. My brushed drill just died after years of abuse. I think it will be a brushless one next. Great tools for a fantastic price.

Would like to try out the brushless one to see how much more power it has. However great tolls at a fantastic price. Cheers Paul

@@tombez3638 Yep the Milwaukee is a good tool. How about battery price in the UK. Here in NZ they are a bit pricey.

No I didn't.
@@brookvalleylife724 Eh. All good. It's still chugging along. Thanks for the reply.
What would you say about OZITO set including 10 pieces, I’m thinking about buying and wonder if it’s worth, what’s your opinion?
Go for it, very good value an robust.
Great sharing 🎉👏
