Driller could use some additional cleanup, though at table length it looks fine. Darn photo closeups at the end always reveal where you need to improve. Enjoy! :)

Finnaly found painting videos. I need to buy the paints and I’m not sure what colours I’ll need. Thanks man.

I tried to stick to the cheaper set for these videos, but of course they put some great ones in the Mega set. Sand Golem, darkwood, camo cloak, and a few more. Finishing up the Edits on the Engineer video today so watch for that and started my first try on the praetorian last night. You will see some acrylic inks work their way into the next few.

Hello loved seeing this. I'm gonna buy the board game at the end of the year(first board game in my life) and even though I won't ever paint them this was a great video to watch

Thank you for the feedback as I am very much feeling my way thru this strange UA-cam Content world. Great first choice for a boardgame I'd say. :) I think I have Skyrim and Darkest Dungeon boardgame Kickstarter showing up around the same time as this, so I'll be having boardgame overload shortly. Never say never on painting. I just started into painting about a year ago and it's slowly becoming an obsession for me with so many cool games and detailed miniatures coming out.

just curious, ive seen alot of your videos and most of them you have a pill bottle or some kind tube underneath the mini. why is that? Does it help keep the hand stable?

Pill bottle= my poor man's mini holder I started out with. Yes, as a heavy coffee drinker, I definitely need to follow most of the golden rules to steady the hands while painting. Elbows braced on table, bring in hands close together to brace off each other, and you can utilize the mini hold (pill bottle) for a little more leverage. I did buy some handles off Amazon from the Jucoci brand that you see in the later videos. One has a brace meant to put your paint brush hand against for extra stability, though I found it was not "filming friendly" and moved to one without that later on, but it features magnetic tops so you could have 4-5 mini's you are swapping between on the same handle. That is definitely handy if you are batch painting a bunch of the same model. Army of skeletons, zombies, Glypid Grunts, etc. I think the handles are way more functional with your normal 25-32mm sized miniatures most games have. Lots of these big chunky bug models in DRG were too big to really work as intended on these handles.

@@hopelesshobbyaddict thank you! I myself have Shakey hands when I'm trying to paint minis, I had no idea they offered things to help give more stability when painting! I'm actually working on these minis currently! You have an awesome channel and give a lot of helpful descriptions and details!

@dylanarcher1022 Thank you so much! I was hesitant to even make these videos, as they are pretty basic "table ready" skill level I am at with the hobby, but definitely have gotten some great feedback and great end result pictures others have posted that certainly look very similar to mine with cool tweaks, so seems it at least help some folks dive in and start painting. :)

a@dylanarcher1022 Also, Quakehold Museum Putty has been the best stuff to put the lids and holders for me to hold the mini's in place. It's not as stiff as some of those Wall Tack putty products, and seems to have more grip/stick then those. Only a $3-4 for a pack that will last for ages. The stuff some handles came with was "okay" but museum putty seemed superior.

It looks like you missed the helmet part that covers his nose. Other than that it looks great, thanks for the video!

If it's there I don't see it from table top length :) Is it the top of the glasses in the recess under the helmet? I'm staring at the 16:30 mark trying to spot it.

@@hopelesshobbyaddict His "nose" is actually a part of his helmet and it's supposed to be silverish if you look up a picture of him on google. It looks flesh colored on your figure but it's really not a big deal at all and still looks good.

@@JustaPairofPants I stand corrected. Great catch! We will call this "my artistic interpretation" but if I go back and do the dirt basing, I'll definitely slap some plate mail over that nose. Thanks for the feedback.
