I've been super intrigued by the Tofurky ham, so I'm pleased you guys gave it a chance. And win, it's good! I'm going to get one and see how it goes. Truth be told, the Tofurky roast and the Celebration roast are my favs. For reference, I'm 50 and have been vegan since 1992, so I've been through the wars ;-)

I so love your emphasis on eating this type of stuff rarely. So many vegans rely heavily on processed food. It's a good reminder to keep this stuff to a minimum and to rely on whole foods - preferably local, organic, and in season! Fun to watch this taste test though!
Thanksgiving is a cool celebration (not celebrated in my country, though). The mental and emotional state of being thankful for what you have is certainly healthy... Fun session, like you said, they are not the healthiest foods. It's an option though, that can make our celebrations and being vegan a little more fun... To be honest, all the dishes you usually make and share with us look a lot better than these processed foods... It's nice to see you two having fun making these videos and helping people to live a healthier life and our planet to get cured (Crystal's laughter is contagious)... We've had the Tofurky Roast for Thanksgiving for the past three years (we have 3 vegans in our family gatherings). When sliced and laid on top of a good vegan dressing/stuffing with my homemade vegan gravy on top and set beside mashed potatoes, fresh green beans with almond slices, and a good fruit salad, it is really, really good! I don't cook the roast quite as long as the package says. It comes out much more tender.

Breaded and baked oyster mushrooms! They’re delicious. Slice the oyster mushrooms length wise (into about 4 pieces). I make almond “butter milk” and a seasoned bread crumb mixture; bake at 424 for 25/30 min (flip halfway).
A good gluten free option is to marinate tofu in the fridge for a couple of hours. Cut the top of the brick to get all the juices in with ham like marinades like mustard etc. You bake it for about an hour and baste it every 20 mins. Was honestly better than any fake meat ive had and somewhat healthy. :)
i don't cook a frozen meal but....i make a shepards pie. make your mashed potatoes and use gardein beef crumbles. i also get mixed veggies in can for another layer and provolone cheese. use crescent rolls for crust. bake at 350 for 15-20 or atleast till golden crust👍👌🏼🔥🔥
I make a veggie wellington every year for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I do buy the Gardein stuffed turkey for a treat during the holiday season too. I like it even without the gravy.
I do enjoy the tofurky roast (the one I've bought comes with gravy 🤔), but honestly for Thanksgiving we make a big roast cauliflower in a bed of roasted veggies (brussel sprouts, rainbow potatoes, jeweled onions, and baby carrots). We don't have any family events to go to though, so we were able to easily make our own traditions. Which is great, but I know it's not that easy for everyone.
Enjoyed this video very much. Humor, decorations, editing. Not sure if I am going to foray into any of those options, but your stuffing from the last video is a likely to be on the table.

I always just use the gardein turky cutlets. I'm picky about stuffing so I don't like the prestuffed ones. The gravy they come with are really good. And they work perfectly for leftover sandwiches which is all that matters really 😁👍

I might give a homemade seitan recipe a try this year. But the stuffed Gardein option seems appealing to bring to my family Thanksgiving dinner. Gardein meatballs are pretty good. I don't usually opt for a plant based "meat like" option but sometimes they are good. Thanks for trying these for us guys!
Vegetarian of 20 years here! Things have gotten SO much better in terms of vegetarian food options over the years. I've had all of the ones you tried EXCEPT the tv dinner and honestly, the only good one is the Tofurky roast. The ham is ehhhh, and the turk'y cutlets and stuffed are kind of gross haha. I have the Tofurky roast every Thanksgiving and Christmas, and eat the deli slices every month on sandwiches! Def recommend!

Plus, stuffing (a similar recipe to yours), mashed Yukon and Russet potatoes with mushroom gravy (also similar to yours), brussel sprouts, corn, homemade cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie for dessert (for which, no one had room). We all really enjoyed our meal. I hope you both did, as well.

I’m Canadian and got again for this occasion Tofurkey. I do like it but yes agree watch what you eat other times but occasions exceptional 👍🏻. My husband as to watch his sodium intake due in not having kidney stones again. So I’m making sure. He had a mild one few days ago as well. So it is with anyone we all need to watch the sodium intake. Once in awhile it’s fine but rare. lol. Great video guys. We always like them. My husband and I appreciate it. Happy thanksgiving 🍽🍁🥧
I have tried all the Gardein products, they're so good! I love the holiday roasts, but honestly, I've stopped eating processed foods for the most part. I work as a vegan chef, so I make all my food from scratch. This year I'm making lentil loaf from High Carb Hannah, mashed potatoes, Derek's mushroom gravy and braised Brussels sprouts. For dessert I'm probably making apple berry crisp.

Try cooking the vegan patties with the gravy. I think it tastes the best when the gravy dries on top and bottom of the patty.
