I actually re-read my journal from 2014 and really wanted to start journaling again. This video is definitely a great reminder that journaling does indeed yield results if done over the long term. Great video!

Ahaha take your time! It's good to have clear, well thought-out goals that you will make the effort to pursue.

I used to have an agenda at the beginning of the year for the past 2 years (and also free from student center during university) and tried to keep up with my goals/activities... Almost gave up this year since I can't go into Indigo and really touch the papers, but by thinking about why I am keep that up made me decided to order it from Amazon, arriving tomorrow! So exciting!

That's exciting! I just love recording things on paper, that feel of pen on paper haha. Hope you enjoy your tracking practice!

Thanks for the tips. I've tried to set some priortized goals, along with the actions I will attempt to take to achieve them.
1 - Save money: cooking at least 5 days a week (10 meals).
2 - Lose weight: reduce the amount of snacks and sugary drinks. Limit of 1 unhealthy snack item per week.
3 - Learn to cook more things: try at least 1 new recipe a month and cook it at least 3 times to learn it.
    Would love some feedback!

Love it! These are specific behaviors you can do and easy to track. For a particular goal you may have multiple activities, like for example, to save money you can cook and keep a list of things you absolutely need to buy or really really want and not buy other things that are not on the list (to avoid impulse buying). Happy New Year and good luck with your goals in 2021!

Thanks Sachin! I’m old school when it comes to journaling haha, I write in my notebook and I have volumes of journals now from the past 3 years. 😂 To me, it feels satisfying to have physical notebook to write on. If you want to keep a journal on a computing device, Microsoft OneNote can serve as a journal app. Cheers to pursuing your goals in 2021!

@@CareerChatswithLaura Thank u Laura. I am also definitely very old school and i do journal from time to time but its on paper and its starting to become unmanageable unmanageable (although that still remains my 1st choice but i think i need to explore more digital methods). Thanks for the suggestion... will check it out.
Have a wonderful 2021. Happy New Year :) Regards
