Thank you for this round table on the Washington Naval Treaty.The presentations were interesting, concise, and nuanced. As an amateur historian with a particular interest in the Second World War, I came to understand the importance of this treaty and the London Conference. For me, knowledge of, and understanding of these treaties, was pivotal in understanding events leading up to the Second World War. There was a great deal more involved than just the agreement to the 5:5:3 ratios amongst the big three naval powers. Well done.
